Jose Iglesias SS | SD
Padres' Jose Iglesias: Picking up start at 3B
Iglesias will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
With Manny Machado getting a day out of the dirt and serving as the team's designated hitter, the Padres will have room in the infield for Iglesias, who picks up his second start in eight games. Iglesias is slashing just .244/.309/.285 over 138 plate appearances in his first season in San Diego, and playing time could remain scarce for the veteran while the Padres have all of their key infielders available.

Gabriel Arias 3B | CLE
Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Hitting bench Sunday
Arias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.
Arias will cede his spot in the middle infield to Angel Martinez, who starts at second base while Daniel Schneemann covers shortstop. After he recently cobbled together a five-game hit streak, Arias has gone 0-for-8 with one walk and five strikeouts over his subsequent three starts.

Masyn Winn SS | STL
Cardinals' Masyn Winn: Getting rare off day
Winn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Winn started the previous 35 games but will hit the bench Sunday while in the midst of a 9-for-49 (.184 batting average) slump. Jose Barrero will take over at shortstop and bat ninth versus Milwaukee righty Quinn Priester.

Trevor Story SS | BOS
Red Sox's Trevor Story: Continues productive stretch
Story went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.
Story drove in a run with a fourth-inning double and then doubled and scored what turned out to be the game-winning run in the sixth. The two-hit game continued what has been a productive week for Story, who has gone 12-for-31 with five extra-base hits, nine RBI, two steals and six runs scored over the last seven contests, helping Boston to a 6-1 record. He'll bat cleanup Sunday, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com.

Josh H. Smith 2B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Smith: On base three times in win
Smith went 2-for-5 with a walk, two doubles and two runs scored in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings victory over the White Sox.
Smith extended a multi-hit streak to six games (12-for-28), and he has scored nine runs during that stretch. He endured a fallow stretch over the second half of May (5-for-45, .111) but has kicked it back up in June, going 19-for-50 (.388) with four walks, six doubles, three home runs, eight RBI and 12 runs over 12 contests.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Rangers' Corey Seager: Delivers run in win
Seager went 1-for-4 with two walks, a double and an RBI in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the White Sox.
Seager got the Rangers on the board with a run-producing double in the fifth inning. It was the second consecutive game with an RBI for Seager, who hasn't been productive since a return from the injured list in late May. He's gone 5-for-48 (.104) with a double, two RBI and three runs scored over 14 games played since coming off the IL. On a positive note, Saturday's bases on balls extended a walk streak to nine games (13 walks, .381 OBP).

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Instrumental in comeback win
Perdomo went 2-for-4 with a walk, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-7 win over the Padres.
Perdomo delivered a bases-loaded triple as part of a five-run rally in the bottom of the ninth inning and then beat a throw at the plate to register the winning run. The three RBI bumped his season total to a career-high 49 (second on team) over 69 games. There's been nothing fluky about Perdomo's run production in 2025; his .279 BABIP is tied for 111th in MLB, and his barrel (4.9 percent) and hard-hit (33.5 percent) rates have jumped up significantly beyond his career norms.

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Gets on base five times in win
Crawford went 3-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Guardians.
Crawford was perfect at the plate Saturday, and that helped the Mariners with their two-run frames in the first and ninth innings. Through Saturday's action, the shortstop has a .410 on-base percentage, good for fourth best in the majors. He's rattled off four three-hit efforts over his last 13 games and is up to a .295 batting average with an .811 OPS, five home runs, four steals, 25 RBI and 29 runs scored across 67 contests this season.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Goes deep Saturday
Swanson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Pirates.
Swanson took Pittsburgh reliever Ryan Borucki deep in the sixth inning, giving him 13 home runs on the season. The shortstop has been solid recently with a .278 batting average and two long balls across his last five games. Swanson should be able to surpass last season's total of 16 homers fairly soon if he stays healthy, and his career high of 27 long balls also remains well within reach.
