DeJong (hand) is slated to see a specialist late next week with the goal of receiving clearance to resume hitting full-speed fastballs, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

DeJong is looking to resume hitting 95 mph pitches without causing damage to his injured finger. The goal is for the shortstop to jump back into batting practice during the team's next homestand, after which he'd head out to a rehab assignment. If he's able to traverse those steps without setbacks, DeJong could be on target for an early-July return.

Gordon went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a strikeout in Wednesday's loss to the Yankees.

Gordon legged out an infield single to open up the game, then drove home a run on a single to right in the fourth. His 19 stolen bases lead the American League, and his batting average is starting to inch back up to .300 thanks in part to his current eight-game hitting streak in which he's hitting an even .400 (14-for-35).

Baez went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and two runs scored in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers.

Despite hitting eighth in this one, Baez made sure his presence was felt. He led off the fifth inning with a double and came around to score on a Kris Bryant single. Baez then led off the seventh with a triple and came around to score on a Tommy La Stella hit, giving the Cubs their final run of the afternoon. The 25-year-old is now batting .266 with an .837 OPS this season.

Rojas went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's loss to the Giants.

Rojas is hitting a lowly .200 in June, but he seems to be turning it around of late. Over his last four games, the 29-year-old is 7-for-12 (.583) with four RBI and four runs scored. Though the Miami lineup won't provide many run-scoring or run-producing opportunities, Rojas is among the team's leaders with 28 RBI on the year to go along with a .244/.308/.356 slash line.

Wendle, who went 2-for-4 with a double in a win over the Astros on Tuesday, is hitting .333 (4-for-12) with two RBI over his last three starts.

The versatile infielder has been a steady performer at the plate throughout the season while also turning in solid work in the field. Wendle has drawn the majority of his starts at second base, and he'll continue to see intermittent playing time there despite the expected Friday return of Daniel Robertson (hamstring).

Story went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's win over the Mets.

Story was the middle part of a back-to-back-to-back sequence in the third inning that helped turn a tie game into a four-run Colorado lead in the eventual 10-8 win. The 25-year-old has been red-hot all June, slashing .357/.395/.686 on the month. With 16 homers, he's on pace to top his personal-best 27 that he mashed in his rookie campaign in 2016.

Herrera went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Herrera has now seen time in all three games since being acquired by the Royals, starting in two of them and going 3-for-9 with a couple of RBI. If he continues to hit, the 25-year-old figures to continue seeing somewhat regular playing time in the rebuilding Royals' outfield, especially with Jorge Soler (toe) recently landing on the disabled list.

Turner went 4-for-4 with a double, a homer and two runs scored Tuesday against the Orioles.

Turner's monster night Tuesday was a much-needed sign of life, as the speedy shortstop was hitting just .200 over his first 14 games in June. The strong effort raised his batting average by 11 points to a .267 mark to go along with his eight homers, 26 RBI and 20 stolen bases on the year.

Crawford was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with a fractured left hand, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic Philadelphia reports. He's expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Crawford suffered the injury when he was hit on the left hand by a Luke Weaver pitch in the fourth inning. Maikel Franco will likely handle everyday third base duties with Crawford expected to be sidelined for at least the next month. The young infielder was hitting just .194 prior to his exit Tuesday.

Camargo went 4-for-5 with a double, a homer, five RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays.

Camargo blew the game open with a grand slam in the second inning off of Blue Jays starter Jaime Garcia. He then tacked on two singles and a double to record the first four-hit game of his career. Camargo is hitting .400 (10-for-25) over his last seven starts and has raised his season average from .209 to .240 over that stretch.
