Baez went 1-for-5 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 14-8 win over the Brewers.

The 26-year-old is quickly dispelling any notion that last year's 34 homers were a fluke. Baez has now gone yard four times in eight games to begin 2019, and while his .250 batting average (9-for-36) could use some work, his fantasy value remains elite hitting in the heart of the Cubs' order.

Crawford went 2-for-4 in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Rays.

Crawford has started the season 9-for-31 (.290) across nine games. Despite batting fifth in the order and smacking two doubles, the veteran shortstop has zero RBI to show for his efforts. Part of the blame can be placed on the Giants' unconventional leadoff man, Steven Duggar, who doesn't get on as much as most top-of-the order hitters do (.308 on-base percentage this year and .303 on-base percentage last season). Crawford's RBI drought is unlikely to continue much longer, but fantasy owners should prepare for a possible decline in RBI chances (54 last year) with the team's current lineup configuration.

Adames will head to the bench Saturday against San Francisco.

Adames will sit for just the second time this season. He could find himself on the bench more often in the near future if he can't break out of his slump, as he's 1-for-27 with 14 strikeouts this season. Daniel Robertson will start at shortstop Saturday.

Gordon (groin) was a late scratch Saturday against the White Sox, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

He exited Friday's game with groin tightness and was originally in Saturday's lineup, but manager Scott Servais decided not to play him in the end because he is not quite 100 percent healthy. Dylan Moore will get the start at the keystone in his stead.

Gordon will bat ninth and play second base Saturday against the White Sox, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Gordon won't miss a game despite leaving Friday's contest early due to groin tightness. The 30-year-old is hitting .289 on the season and has converted all five of his stolen-base attempts.

Ahmed went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored in Friday's 15-8 win over the Red Sox.

The slugging Diamondbacks continued to bash through the early stages of the season. Arizona ranks third in runs (56) and leads in slugging (.578). Ahmed, who's hit safely in seven of eight games, has contributed five extra-base hits, five RBI and a team-high eight runs while hitting in the lower third of the order.

Correa went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the A's.

The homer was Correa's first of 2019, but the shortstop is already displaying plenty of pop -- he also has three doubles among his six hits, giving him a .333/.400/.667 slash line through five games. If he can stay healthy, Correa should have no trouble returning to the 20-HR level he reached in his first three seasons in the majors.

Arcia went 3-for-3 with a walk, a home run, three runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 13-10 win over the Cubs.

The homer was his second of the season, but that initial blast was also his only hit coming into Friday. Arcia is coming off a disappointing 2018, but improved plate discipline -- he has an encouraging 3:4 BB:K so far -- could be the key to a rebound for the 24-year-old.

DeJong went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk Friday against the Padres.

DeJong launched a home run in the fourth inning of a 5-3 loss, although it came with nobody on base. Unfortunately for DeJong, two of his three long balls have been solo shots in 2019. The 25-year-old is now 7-for-30 at the dish through seven contests this year.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, a walk and four runs scored Friday against Seattle.

Anderson smoked a two-run single to center in the second inning and hit his first homer of the season, a solo blast, to left field in the eighth. He's now 7-for-16 with two extra-base hits, four RBI and a stolen base through five games this year.
