The Dodgers transferred Seager (hand) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

Seager's fractured right hand has kept him out of action since May 15, and after recently suffering a setback in his recovery, he wasn't on track to return from the 10-day IL prior to the All-Star break. As a result, the Dodgers' decision to transfer Seager to the 60-day IL is merely a formality that won't affect his timeline for a return. The Dodgers likely won't be able to outline a clear target date for Seager to come off the IL until he's cleared to resume baseball activities again.

Story is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.

Since returning from the 10-day injured list June 10, Story has started in all 18 of the Rockies' games, slashing .269/.359/.507 with four home runs and six stolen bases over that stretch. He'll get a well-deserved breather in the series finale with Pittsburgh, paving the way for Brendan Rodgers to pick up a start at shortstop.

Wendle isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Wendle will take a seat for the second time in the last three games with left-hander Jon Lester starting for the Nationals. Yandy Diaz will shift to third base while Ji-Man Choi starts at first base.

Reyes was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday.

Reyes was called up by the Brewers on Monday, and he went 0-for-1 in his lone appearance as a pinch hitter during his time in the majors. He'll head back to the Triple-A club but could be an option to return to the Brewers as utility depth at some point.

DeJong isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

DeJong has gone 3-for-10 with two homers, four RBI, two runs and a stolen base across the last four games, but he'll get a breather in Wednesday's series finale. Edmundo Sosa will start at shortstop and bat eighth.

Edman went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a run and a stolen base in a 3-2 victory versus the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

The Cardinals' leadoff hitter singled and stole second base in the fifth frame before coming around to score the game's first run on Nolan Arenado's two-run homer. He came up with a big single in the following inning, driving in a run that proved to provide the winning margin in the contest. Edman is slashing a modest .259/.301/.364 on the season but has made his mark in fantasy with 14 stolen bases in 17 attempts.

Bichette went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's win over the Mariners.

Bichette continued his hot streak with his ninth multi-hit game of the month, including his 15th homer of the year, this time against Rafael Montero in the sixth inning. The 23-year-old's recent success at the plate has raised his season slash line to .283/.332/.484.

Downs was removed from Tuesday's game with Triple-A Worcester to be evaluated for a head injury, Katie Morrison of MassLive.com reports.

The 22-year-old suffered the potential head injury on a play at the plate during the sixth inning, as he went tumbling to the ground when he elected not to slide and collided with the catcher. Downs went 1-for-2 with a solo homer and a walk prior to exiting the contest, and he should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated.

Barrero will make his Triple-A debut for Louisville on Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Barrero jumped all the way from High-A to the big leagues last season but looked overmatched, hitting .194/.206/.194 in 68 plate appearances. He's back on a standard development track this season. His promotion to Triple-A is well earned based on his performance at Double-A Chattanooga, where he hit .300/.367/.481 with six homers and eight steals in 40 games.

Rojas is sitting for Tuesday's game against the Phillies due to cold-like symptoms, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

It's unclear how severe Rojas' symptoms are, nor is it known whether he's available off the bench Tuesday. More details about his condition figure to become available following the game or on Wednesday.
