Swanson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored during Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Padres in extra innings.

The 28-year-old also struck out twice but provided most of Atlanta's offense in the series finale with his 416-foot, two-run shot to center field during the fourth inning. It was Swanson's third homer in his past eight contests, but strikeouts continue to be a problem as he's totaled 11 during that stretch. He has a .229/.303/.407 slash line with four home runs, 14 RBI, 17 runs, four stolen bases and a 35.6 percent strikeout rate through 35 games this year.

Adames (ankle) underwent X-rays that came back negative Sunday, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Adames exited Sunday's win over the Marlins due to a left ankle sprain, and he doesn't appear to be dealing with any structural damage. He'll be reevaluated when the Brewers return to Milwaukee on Monday and is considered day-to-day for now. If Adames misses any additional time, Luis Urias and Mike Brosseau would likely fill in at shortstop.

Mateo was diagnosed with chest and shoulder contusions after X-rays came back negative Sunday, Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Sun reports.

The 26-year-old suffered the injury during Sunday's matchup with Detroit when he collided with first baseman Spencer Torkelson while trying to bunt for a base hit, but it appears he's avoided any serious issues. Mateo should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener versus the Yankees.

Adames was diagnosed with a sprained left ankle after leaving Sunday's game at Miami, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Mateo was removed from Sunday's game against the Tigers with rib cage soreness, Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Witt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 10-4 loss to the Rockies.

Witt is only 3-for-18 across his last four games, but all three of those hits have gone for extra bases. He's added six RBI and three runs scored despite striking out six times in that span. The 21-year-old is slashing .212/.238/.347 with two homers, five stolen bases, 13 RBI and 13 runs scored through 30 contests.

Pena (knee) woke up sore Sunday and is being held out of the lineup against the Nationals as a precaution, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With a soreness issue like this, he could wake up sore on future days, so it's hard to say when he will be cleared to return, but it does sound like he is truly day-to-day. Aledmys Diaz is starting at shortstop Sunday.

Pena (knee) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Nationals, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The Astros made it seem like Pena would likely be back Sunday, but that will not be the case. Aledmys Diaz is starting at shortstop and hitting sixth.

Velazquez went 2-for-7 with a walk, a run and a stolen base across both games of Saturday's doubleheader split versus Oakland.

Velazquez has settled into an everyday role at shortstop for the Angels, as he started both games of the twin bill while Tyler Wade played one game at third base and the other in left field. Velazquez is still batting just .188 on the season, but he leads the team with six steals and has displayed some outstanding defense. He is also starting to hit better, going 7-for-19 (.368) with a home run, two doubles, four runs, two RBI and two steals over his past six games.
