Mateo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 win against the Cubs.

Mateo singled and stole second in the fourth inning and added a valuable insurance run with a solo shot in the seventh. After going just 2-for-19 through his first nine games of July, the 27-year-old has batted 4-for-8 since and moved alone into second on the MLB leaderboard with his 22nd theft. Through 81 games, Mateo is slashing .202/.254/.346 with seven home runs, 31 runs and 23 RBI.

Story was diagnosed with a right hand contusion after leaving Tuesday's game against the Rays, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.

According to Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican, Story is scheduled to undergo X-rays later Tuesday. The 29-year-old will continue to be evaluated and should be considered day-to-day for now.

Story was removed from Tuesday's game at Tampa Bay with an apparent right hand injury, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Story sustained the injury during the fifth inning when he was struck in the right hand by a pitch on a swing, and he was unable to finish the plate appearance. The specifics of the injury remain unclear, though it wouldn't be surprising if he's headed for X-rays.

Crawford is not in the lineup Tuesday against Arizona, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Crawford will head to the bench for the second time in the past three games since the Diamondbacks will send out a left-handed starter (Dallas Keuchel). Thairo Estrada will shift to shortstop while Wilmer Flores starts at the keystone.

The Phillies transferred Camargo's (knee) rehab assignment Tuesday from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to Double-A Reading.

The move down a level is likely just a scheduling-related matter, as Camargo doesn't appear to be dealing with any sort of setback to his right knee since beginning his rehab assignment last weekend. Over his three-game stay at Lehigh Valley, Camargo went 2-for-10 with a double and two walks. He could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list by the weekend.

DeJong (hand) will be available Tuesday for Triple-A Memphis' game against Nashville, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Though he was never placed on Memphis' 7-day injured list, DeJong hasn't played since June 29 after he was struck on the hand by a pitch. Since his demotion to the minors back on May 10, DeJong is slashing .219/.268/.475 over 179 plate appearances for Memphis. He's been showcasing a good deal of power in the minors, but DeJong doesn't appear primed for a call-up anytime soon.

Franco announced Tuesday via his personal Instagram account that he had successful surgery on his right wrist, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Franco is expected to require 5-to-8 weeks of recovery time after getting the procedure to repair a fractured hamate bone. Taylor Walls is expected to serve as the Rays' everyday shortstop while Franco is on the 10-day injured list.

Castillo went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Monday against the Marlins.

Castillo has started six consecutive games, though he has been aided by the fact that the Pirates have faced four lefties in that span. He's taken advantage of the opportunity, maintaining a .300 average with two homers, five RBI and three runs scored across his last 22 plate appearances. Despite his ability to play multiple positions, Castillo may find playing time harder to come by in the near future with Ben Gamel, Jake Marisnick and Kevin Newman all back in the mix.

Bogaerts went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 10-5 loss to the Rays.

The shortstop did a little bit of everything, and his RBI single in the fifth inning tied the game at 5-5 before the Boston bullpen fell apart. Bogaerts has multiple hits in three straight games to snap a slump that had seen him hit just .158 (9-for-57) over his prior 16 contests, and on the season he's slashing .315/.393/.455 with seven homers, four steals, 36 RBI and 51 runs through 83 games.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base Monday against the Guardians.

Anderson extended his hitting streak to a modest four games with a single in the third inning. He then swiped second base -- his 11th of the season -- and came around to score on a three-run home run by Yoan Moncada. Anderson has hit only .237 across 18 games since returning from a groin injury June 20, though he still has 13 runs scored and three stolen bases in that span.
