Seager (back) is out of the lineup again Monday, and he may not return until Friday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

He's now missed three consecutive days with the upper-back stiffness, but the Dodgers are chalking it up to an "abundance of caution." Seager will get plenty of rest and should be ready to go by Friday, if not earlier.

Seager (back) is out of the Dodgers lineup for Sunday's Cactus League game against the Mariners, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Seager was also held out Saturday due to upper-back stiffness. Though he's now missed two consecutive days, there are no reports indicating the injury is anything serious. The star shortstop is expected to rest up again Monday before potentially returning to the lineup Tuesday.

Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's split-squad game against the Marlins.

He's a robust 7-for-16 (.438) to begin the spring, with one home run and one stolen base. Swanson is showing every sign of being ready to build on his impressive big league debut in 2016, when he slashed .302/.361/.442 in 38 games.

Cecchini went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros.

He's been getting a long look at second base through camp so far, and with Neil Walker's contract talks stalled, another big season at Triple-A Las Vegas could make Cecchini a strong option to take over the keystone for the Mets in 2018. His 2017 fantasy value will depend on injuries opening up a spot in the big league infield, however.

The 23-year-old could have an adjustment period with his glove to begin the season as he settles in as the Nats' starting shortstop, but his bat and legs should remain very productive from the top of the order.

D'Arnaud has been battling the flu in recent days, David O'Brien of the AJC reports.

The team has yet to announce how long D'Arnaud will be shelved with the illness, but O'Brien reports that the bug has hit a couple of players in the Braves' clubhouse. His temporary absence will likely lead to more at-bats for the likes of Dansby Swanson and Jace Peterson in exhibition games.

Rojas hit a three-run home run and a sacrifice fly in two trips to the plate during Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros.

He's got just three home runs in 485 at-bats in the majors, but Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports that Rojas spent the offseason trying to add more loft to his swing after he grounded into 10 double plays in 2016, and at least for one meaningless preseason game those efforts paid off. The 28-year-old will begin the season on the Marlins' bench, and even in deep NL-only leagues, would only be worth a fantasy roster spot if injuries hit the team's infield.

X-rays on Seager's injured shin returned negative and manager Dave Roberts suggested Wednesday evening that he is expected to rejoin the lineup Friday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.

This is a positive sign for the Dodgers and fantasy owners alike, as Seager appears to have avoided any serious damage. Assuming he stays healthy, the 22-year-old shortstop figures to place among the elite at his position in the league again in 2017.
