Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Goes yard again
DeJong went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in Friday's 12-11 win over the Reds.
His two-run shot off Robert Stephenson in the seventh inning actually proved to be the game-winning hit for the Cards. DeJong has now homered in consecutive games after going more than a month without leaving the yard, and the shortstop is slashing .254/.334/.444 on the year with 15 home runs and 44 RBI in 94 games.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Hits 23rd home run
Baez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Friday's 6-5 win over the Padres.
Baez continues to have another productive campaign, as he's now up to 23 home runs and 64 RBI through 95 games. While those numbers are in line with last season's stats, the 26-year-old has been noticeably less active on the basepaths, with only five steals this year compared to 21 in 2018.

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Blasts first career grand slam
Edman went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in a win over the Pirates on Thursday.
The rookie operated out of the leadoff spot once again and provided the big blast of the contest, launching a 408-foot shot to right with the bases juiced in the sixth inning to snap a 3-3 tie. The homer was only Edman's second, but the fact he plated four runs with it pushed his July RBI total to an impressive 10 over 12 games (eight starts).

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: On base thrice in win
Edman went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs in a win over the Pirates on Wednesday.
Edman was productive out of the leadoff spot, setting the table in a fashion befitting of that role. The rookie's season line currently sits at .258/.290/.470 across 69 plate appearances, but the majority of his success has come from spots other than the top of the order. Even factoring in Wednesday's production, Edman is hitting just .213 in 49 plate appearances when leading off.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Given off day in series finale
Seager is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Seager and A.J. Pollock only recently returned from extended stints on the injured list, so both will be given a breather as the Dodgers and Phillies conclude their series with a day game after a night game. Enrique Hernandez checks in at shortstop for Seager, who has recorded four hits in 22 at-bats in his first six games back in action.

Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Provides three extra-base hits
Story went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 11-8 loss to the Giants.
Story finished only a single short of the cycle, but he didn't have a legitimate chance of attaining the feat since he hit the homer during the ninth inning. The 26-year-old has a .250/.294/.625 slash line with five home runs in 12 games since coming off the injured list July 2.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: On bench Wednesday
Crawford is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Rockies, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Crawford is 10-for-24 with four home runs and 12 RBI since the All-Star break, but he'll head to the bench Wednesday following a string of six straight starts. In his place, Donovan Solano is starting at shortstop and hitting eighth.

Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Brewers' Orlando Arcia: Day off Tuesday
Arcia is not starting Tuesday against Atlanta.
Arcia heads to the bench for the third time in six games. Tyler Saladino again takes over at shortstop.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Hits three homers in doubleheader
Crawford went 6-for-9 with three home runs, nine RBI and four runs during a doubleheader against the Rockies on Monday.
In the first game, Crawford was 5-for-6 with a pair of long balls and eight RBI, as the Giants routed the Rockies, 19-2. His third homer of the day was much more important in the night cap, as the Giants won that contest, 2-1. The doubleheader performance did wonders for Crawford's numbers. He is now batting .240 with nine home runs, 39 RBI, 36 runs and two steals in 292 at-bats this season.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Three hits in loss
Rojas went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Mets.
After going 0-for-7 to begin the second half, Rojas rebounded with his 11th multi-hit effort in his last 20 games -- a stretch during which he's slashing .361/.396/.482. The 30-year-old doesn't offer much upside in counting stats, but he's proving to be a useful fantasy asset for rosters that need a batting average boost.
