Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Braves' Dansby Swanson: Paces offense in victory
Swanson went 3-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs during Wednesday's 7-2 win over the Phillies.
Swanson enjoyed his first three-hit performance since mid-August by producing a trio of singles, the last of which brought home a pair of runs in the seventh inning. Swanson has endured a rough month of September, hitting just .171 with four extra-base hits, but he's currently working on a five-game on-base streak.

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Not starting Wednesday
Edman isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.
Edman has gone 2-for-18 with two strikeouts across the last four games, and he'll get his first day off in over a month after the Cardinals clinched a postseason spot Tuesday. Jose Rondon will start at the keystone and bat seventh.

Willy Adames SS | SF
Brewers' Willy Adames: Returns to lineup
Adames (quadriceps) is starting Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
Adames was removed from Tuesday's lineup as a precautionary measure due to left quadriceps discomfort, but he'll be back in the lineup a day later. The 26-year-old will start at shortstop and bat second.

Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Mets' Francisco Lindor: Drives in three during twin bill
Lindor went a combined 2-for-7 with a home run, a walk and three RBI between both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader sweep of the Marlins.
Lindor led the charge for the Mets in the opening contest, connecting on his second home run in as many games when he took lefty reliever Steven Okert deep in the sixth inning. Though his first season in Queens hasn't come close to living up to expectations, Lindor is at least closing the campaign with the kind of production the Mets banked on when they handed him a $341 million contract in April. Through 25 September games, Lindor is slashing .258/.352/.559 with eight home runs and 21 RBI.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Dodgers' Trea Turner: Three hits, stolen base
Turner went 3-for-5 with a double, run, RBI, strikeout and stolen base in a 2-1 triumph over San Diego on Tuesday.
Turner opened the scoring with a first-inning double before stealing third base, singled and scored in the third and singled in the sixth to record his third straight multi-hit performance. A 14-game hitting streak has been especially fruitful over Turner's last five games, with the 28-year-old going 11-for-22 with three doubles and three homers.

Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Homers in victory
Story went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in a win over the Nationals on Tuesday.
The shortstop doubled in the first inning before taking Patrick Corbin deep in the fifth inning for his 24th long ball of the year. It was his third multi-hit contest in his last eight contests and he didn't strike out for only the second time in 14 contests.

Willy Adames SS | SF
Brewers' Willy Adames: Scratched with quad issue
Adames was scratched from Tuesday's lineup at St. Louis due to left quadriceps discomfort, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
The injury is to the same quad that sent Adames to the injured list earlier in September, so it's a potentially worrying development during the final week of the regular season. The Brewers labeled his removal from the starting nine as a precautionary measure, and the team figures to be extra careful for the final six games of the season since its playoff seeding is already locked in. Luis Urias will take over at shortstop and should continue to see time there until Adames is cleared to return.

Luke Williams SS | ATL
Phillies' Luke Williams: Sent back to Lehigh Valley
Williams was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.
Williams has gone hitless in three at-bats off the bench since being activated from the COVID-19 IL on Sept. 20. The club has decided to recall infielder Alec Bohm from Lehigh Valley, which leaves Williams as the odd man out on the 28-man roster. Assuming Williams does not return to the majors during the final five days of the season, he'll conclude his big-league campaign having hit .245/.315/.316 with one homer, four doubles and six RBI across 98 at-bats.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: On bench for afternoon game
Rojas will sit for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
The Marlins will likely give a number of their regulars a rest in one of the two games. Jazz Chisholm slides to shortstop for the afternoon contest, with Joe Panik starting at second base.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Dodgers' Trea Turner: Goes deep in win Sunday
Turner went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in a 3-0 victory versus Arizona on Sunday.
All of the Dodgers' runs in the win came off solo homers -- two by Corey Seager and one by Turner. The middle-infield combo went back-to-back in the first inning to give Los Angeles an early lead. Turner's effort extended his hitting streak to 13 games, during which he is slashing .377/.450/.660 with four homers, seven RBI, 11 runs and five stolen bases.
