Correa went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Friday's 7-3 win over Boston.

Correa has gone yard in each of the first two games of the series, giving him 10 for the season, the fourth consecutive year he's reached double-digit home runs. The slugging shortstop endured a May in which he hit a lowly .192, but his power didn't slump. He hit five homers and knocked in a team-high 17 runs in May and leads the Astros with 39 RBI in 56 games. Even during stretches in which his bat slumps, Correa's spot as cleanup hitter in stacked lineup presents plenty of RBI opportunities.

Diaz (ankle) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Friday, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

He has been out since early May with the ankle injury, and hit just .216/.273/.431 with six home runs in 102 at-bats before landing on the DL. Gio Urshela will remain with the big club even after this activation. Diaz should enter into a crowded infield rotation, getting starts at shortstop while also getting spelled at time by Yangervis Solarte or Urshela.

Gordon went 1-for-5 with a triple and a run in a win over the Rangers on Thursday.

Activated from the disabled list earlier in the day, Gordon made a triumphant return by lacing a leadoff triple in the home half of the first. The speedster subsequently crossed the plate on Jean Segura's sacrifice fly, and the fact he legged out his second three-bagger of the season essentially corroborated the fitness of his previously injured toe. Gordon heads into June with a modest three-game hitting streak, and he appears ready to resume his role as a dynamic table-setter at the top of the order.

Wendle went 3-for-4 with a run in a loss to the Athletics on Thursday.

Wendle closed out May with a seven-game hitting streak, although Thursday's effort represented his first multi-hit tally during that stretch. The 28-year-old has proven to be an effective left-handed bat for manager Kevin Cash during what is his most extended taste of major-league action, as he's now slashing a solid .295/.344/.416 across 163 plate appearances.

Correa went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Thursday against the Red Sox.

Correa got the Astros on the board in the first inning by hitting his ninth home run of the season. It was his first home run since May 19, and he has struggled at the plate of late going just 8-for-42 across his past 10 games. This home run could get him on track in what has been a relatively quiet season for him to this point.

Lindor went 4-for-5 with two home runs, two doubles, four RBI and three runs to help the Indians to a 9-8 victory over the Twins on Thursday.

Lindor hadn't left the yard in three weeks coming into this contest, but he dispatched of that lull in resounding fashion with this monster offensive effort that saw him crank home runs No. 13 and 14 of the season, and bring his slash line up to .311/.383/.579. He's firmly reestablished his status as one of the best-hitting shortstops in baseball following a slow April.

Gordon (toe) was activated from the 10-day disabled list prior to Thursday's game against the Rangers. He is starting at second base and hitting leadoff, according to Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle.

As expected, Gordon is back in action after a minimum stay on the disabled list with a toe fracture. He'll immediately reclaim his role as the team's everyday leadoff man and primary second baseman, with Gordon Beckham, who was filling in for Gordon at the keystone, heading to the minors in a corresponding roster move. The 30-year-old speedster, who was hitting an impressive .304/.330/.386 with 16 stolen bases across 45 games prior to landing on the shelf, will face lefty Mike Minor in his first game back.

Adrianza went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 11-8 loss to the Royals.

The 28-year-old connected on his first homer of the year as part of a six-inning rally that nearly dug the Twins out of a nine-run hole, but their comeback attempt fell short. Adrianza is hitting .333 (8-for-24) over his last eight games with four doubles in addition to the home run, but his .629 career OPS makes it tough to trust that he'll be able to keep that level of production up for much longer.

Wendle will take a seat for Wednesday's matchup against Oakland, Juan Toribio of The Athletic Tampa Bay reports.

Wendle will get his usual day off Wednesday against a left-handed starter. Christian Arroyo will bat sixth and take over at second base with Wendle on the bench.

Lindor will take a seat for Wednesday's series finale against the White Sox, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Lindor will get the day off after batting a modest .279 with three RBI and five walks over his last 10 games. Erik Gonzalez is set to take over at shortstop and will bat ninth.
