Adrianza (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day DL on Thursday, Brandon Warne of Zone Coverage reports.

As expected, Adrianza will return to the fold prior to Thursday's series opener against the Rays after missing the minimum 10 days due to a left hamstring strain. Look for the 28-year-old to be utilized as a reserve infielder upon his return, now that Jorge Polanco is back in action. Across 64 games this year, Adrianza is hitting .261 with a .724 OPS.

Correa (back) will not return until after the All-Star break, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet reports.

As expected, manager A.J. Hinch ruled Correa out for the final weekend in the first half of the 2018 campaign, and added that the shortstop will require a rehabilitation assignment in the minor leagues prior to his return. In previous days, Correa has resumed throwing, fielded groundballs, and did some light hitting in the batting cage. If all goes well, he should be able to embark upon a minor-league assignment next week. Expect an update on his status later on this weekend as he continues to ramp up activities.

Correa (back) took ground balls for a second straight day Wednesday and incorporated some throwing during his pre-game work, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa did his most work Wednesday since hitting the disabled list June 26 and said he planned on hitting in a cage later in the day. There was no confirmation of him hitting, but the ramping up of baseball activities is a positive sign.

Bogaerts went 3-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and an RBI in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Rangers.

The shortstop has banged out an extra-base hit in six of his last seven games, pushing Bogaerts' slash line on the season back up to .283/.355/.526. The 25-year-old remains on track for career highs in homers, RBI and OPS.

Adames was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 22-year-old has played sporadically for the Rays this season, struggling to a .226/.275/.357 line and a 36.3 percent strikeout rate in 91 plate appearances. He remains a highly-rated prospect, but he'll spend some time in the minors in order to get some regular at-bats. A corresponding move is expected to be announced prior to Friday's game against the Twins.

Herrera is out of the lineup versus Minnesota on Wednesday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Jorge Bonifacio will draw the start in right field while Salvador Perez gets a mini-breather as the Royals' DH during the series finale. Since coming up from the minors in mid-June, Herrera is hitting .267 with six extra-base hits and eight RBI.

Fletcher didn't start Tuesday's contest, going 0-for-1 off the bench in a 9-3 win over the Mariners.

Shohei Ohtani's return from the disabled list as a hitter has created a platoon at third between Luis Valbuena and Fletcher. The rookie has been relegated to pinch-hitting duties in three of the Angels' last four contests, with his only start coming against a southpaw. Fletcher is slashing .276/.323/.345 in 62 plate appearances, but his fantasy value is limited on the short side of a platoon.

Mondesi went 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base, a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's win over the Twins.

Mondesi slugged a three-run homer -- his second of the year -- off starter Aaron Slegers in the second inning, and later got an RBI single in the sixth. Since being called up June 17, Mondesi is hitting .230/.254/.393 with 10 RBI, 11 runs and five stolen bases in 61 at-bats. In three of his last six games the 22-year-old has had multi-hit performances.

Correa (back) fielded groundballs from a stationary stance on the field before Monday's game, Christian Boutwell of MLB.com reports.

While it was a minor achievement, this marks the first baseball activities for Correa since he landed on the disabled list. He is still not swinging a bat or moving in the field or on the bases, so there is no expectation that he will be back until sometime after the All-Star break.

Wendle went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs in a win over the Mets on Sunday.

Wendle slugged the last of three round trippers for the Rays, launching an eighth-inning solo blast off reliever Paul Sewald. The versatile infielder has thrived in his brief opportunities filling the leadoff spot this season, as he's now hitting .385 (6-for-13) with Sunday's homer, two RBI, three walks and six runs from the top of the order.
