Neto went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 11-9 extra-inning loss to the Royals.

This was Neto's first multi-hit effort over his last eight games. The shortstop has gone 7-for-30 (.233) in that span, though he has added four doubles, four RBI and three stolen bases. For the season, he's batting .243 with an .803 OPS, five home runs, eight doubles, four steals, 14 RBI and 21 runs scored across 29 contests. Neto has also drawn 20 walks so far, which has helped him function effectively as a leadoff hitter.

Witt went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a triple in Sunday's 11-9 extra-inning win over the Angels.

Witt decided that one month was long enough, taking Reid Detmers deep in the sixth inning. This was Witt's first homer of the season. He's made up for the lack of power with consistency at the plate, hitting safely in eight straight games, and he's been held hitless just six times in 28 contests overall. The shortstop is batting .294 with a .790 OPS, nine stolen bases, 12 RBI, seven runs scored and nine doubles over 125 plate appearances. He has some catching up to do in the power department -- Witt has hit at least 20 homers in each of his first four years in the majors, but he may need a hot stretch or two to reach that mark in 2026.

Honeycutt left Sunday's contest with High-A Frederick early with left thumb discomfort, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Honeycutt finished his day having gone 0-for-1 with a walk and a strikeout, and he is now batting .188 with four home runs, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and seven stolen bases over 67 at-bats in 18 games at High-A this year. It's unclear what exactly the outfielder's injury is, but he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Lee went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run during the Twins' 4-2 loss to the Rays on Sunday.

The Twins were blanked through the first six innings of Sunday's game, but Lee got his team on the board by cracking a two-run homer off Jesse Scholtens in the seventh frame. It was Lee's second homer of the three-game series and his fifth of the 2026 season. Since April 1, he has slashed .269/.337/.487 with one steal, 15 RBI and 11 runs scored over 86 plate appearances.

Story isn't in Boston's starting lineup Sunday against Baltimore, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Story has struggled to a .532 OPS and a 31.1 percent strikeout rate through 119 plate appearances this season, but he's kept an everyday role in the lineup. Boston shook up its coaching staff following Saturday's win, and Story voiced his displeasure with that decision, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com. It's not clear if that has anything to do with his absence from the lineup Sunday. Andruw Monasterio is drawing a start at shortstop in Story's stead.

Baez isn't in the starting lineup Sunday versus Cincinnati.

Baez started the Tigers' previous five games, making appearances at shortstop and second base and in center field. However, he'll begin Sunday on the bench after going 3-for-17 with one homer during that five-game stretch.

Martinez hit atop the order and went 1-for-4 in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Toronto.

Martinez was originally slated to bat fifth and play left field, but he was moved to center field and batted leadoff when Steven Kwan (neck) was scratched from the lineup. Martinez's stock has risen dramatically early in 2026, as he's slashing .282/.325/.526 with five home runs, 14 RBI, five steals and 12 runs over 25 games.

Brito started at second base and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jays.

Brito doubled and scored in the third inning and walked as part of a ninth-inning rally that fell short. In between, he misplayed a grounder that led to Toronto scoring three runs in the sixth inning, although the play was not ruled an error. Brito has been charged with three errors and has minus-1 Outs Above Average since being called up to the majors April 7, but he appears to have some runway with Gabriel Arias (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list and is working on his defense with an infield coach, per Tim Stebbins of MLB.com. Daniel Schneemann and Angel Martinez are also options to handle the keystone, but manager Stephen Vogt values Schneemann's versatility and likes Martinez more in the outfield.

McGonigle went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in a loss to the Reds on Saturday.

McGonigle gave Detroit an early lead when he knocked Brady Singer's second pitch of the game over the center-field fence for a leadoff homer. The Tigers were able to score only one more run the rest of the way, but that was no fault of McGonigle, who finished with his eighth multi-hit game of the campaign. The talented rookie has had no trouble adjusting to MLB pitching, as he's slashing .333/.424/.539 with two homers, 11 doubles, 12 RBI, 21 runs and two stolen bases over his first 27 contests.

Montgomery went 0-for-3 with two runs scored Saturday against the Nationals.

Montgomery's seven-game hitting streak was snapped, but he still managed to make an impact in the contest. He was hit by a pitch in the eighth inning and came around to score, and he was once again driven in after beginning the 10th inning as the designated runner. Montgomery's recent stretch of success has boosted his season-long OPS to .847, as he's gone 11-for-31 (.355 average) with four homers, 10 RBI and seven runs scored across his last eight starts.
