Diaz felt some tightness in his left hamstring while running Sunday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The Astros will continue to exercise caution with Diaz, so he'll likely take it easy for the next few days. "We're trying to make sure I'm going to be 100 percent when I come back," Diaz told McTaggart. "We tried running at 100, 95 percent and I felt a little tightness in my hamstring. I think that's part of the process. We know hamstrings can be tricky and we're going to keep doing work.'

Fletcher is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners due to a sore left shoulder, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Though Fletcher will be on the bench for a second straight day due to the injury, manager Brad Ausmus suggested he wasn't worried about the 25-year-old requiring a trip to the injured list. Fletcher's absence will open up a starting spot in the infield for Wilfredo Tovar.

Gordon (wrist) went 1-for-5 in Triple-A Tacoma's loss to Nashville on Saturday.

Gordon played another full game for the Rainiers on Saturday and was able to lace a single for the second consecutive contest. The speedy infielder has now made it through a pair of rehab games without setbacks, and Greg Johns of MLB.com reports that Gordon is expected to rejoin the Mariners on Tuesday in Minnesota.

Crawford (ankle) impressed during agility and running drills Saturday and will take live batting practice at Tacoma on Sunday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Crawford is prepping for the start of a rehab assignment at High-A Modesto at the beginning of the week, and Saturday's developments were certainly encouraging ahead of that step. Sunday's batting practice session, during which Crawford is slated to potentially face both Hunter Strickland (lat) and Felix Hernandez (lat), should serve as a strong foundation for the recovering shortstop's scheduled return to game action.

Fletcher is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against Mariners, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Fletcher had started the Angels' previous 32 games. He'll get a rest Saturday, with Wilfredo Tovar starting at shortstop.

Gordon (wrist) went 1-for-4 in Triple-A Tacoma's loss to Nashville on Friday.

Gordon logged a full nine innings in his first rehab game with the Rainiers and appeared to get through the contest unscathed. If he continues free of setbacks over the next few games, Gordon is expected to be ready for activation some time next week.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Rays.

Bogaerts extended an on-base streak to 10 games Friday and is 16-for-42 with three home runs, five doubles, eight RBI and 13 runs scored during the streak. That surge moved him to the top of team in runs (50), RBI (41) and OPS (.915). With J.D. Martinez (back) dealing with an injury and Mookie Betts not producing consistently, it's been up to Bogaerts and Rafael Devers to carry the offensive load.

Mondesi went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's 6-4 win over the White Sox.

Mondesi swatted an RBI double in the sixth inning against Ivan Nova to tie the game at 2-2. Then with the Royals trailing in the seventh, he put them in the lead for good with an RBI single against reliever Jace Fry. The speedy 23-year-old continues to lead the majors in steals with 23 on the season, while batting a lofty .282/.316/.476 with six homers, 44 RBI and 37 runs scored.

Crawford (ankle) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Modesto on Monday or Tuesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Crawford is only expected to need a handful of games in the minors before being deemed ready for activation. If all goes well for him with Modesto in the earlier part of the week, there's a chance Crawford is activated by next weekend's series against the Athletics.

Bichette (hand) began a rehab assignment with High-A Dunedin on Friday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Bichette entered the starting lineup for the High-A club at shortstop and appears to be nearing a return from the shelf after breaking his left hand near the end of April. While he'll initially return to Triple-A Buffalo once he's activated from the minor-league IL, it's certainly possible that he could make his big-league debut shortly afterwards.
