Valdez (5-4) took the loss Wednesday against San Francisco, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out one.

It was a tough day for Valdez, who allowed two runs in the third inning before the Giants scored three more in the fourth. The 30-year-old Valdez had allowed just five runs in three starts (22 innings) coming into Wednesday's matchup. The left-hander now sports a 3.99 ERA with a 1.21 WHIP and 51:19 K:BB across 67.2 innings this year. Valdez will look to rebound in his next outing, currently scheduled for early next week on the road versus the White Sox.

Webb (6-5) picked up the win Wednesday against the Astros, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out five over six innings.

Webb held Houston to one run through his first five innings before giving up a two-run homer to Yordan Alvarez in the sixth. However, the Giants would hang on for a 5-3 victory while Webb logged his sixth quality start in his last seven outings. Overall, the right-hander sports a 3.02 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 78:20 K:BB across 92.1 innings this year. Webb's currently slated for a road matchup with the Cubs early next week.

Olson (1-8) allowed five runs (four earned) on 10 hits across 5.1 innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Nationals. He walked two and struck out three.

Although this wasn't as bad as his last outing, when he allowed eight runs on 12 hits over four innings, this still wasn't a great performance from Olson. The righty has now sustained losses in his last three starts, and he has a 10.43 ERA during the rough stretch. It's quite a reversal for Olson, as he had a 1.92 ERA across his first 10 appearances of the season. Fantasy managers will hope he gets back on track in his next scheduled start, which is tentatively set for Monday against a tough Atlanta lineup on the road.

Bibee (4-2) took the loss to the Reds on Wednesday, allowing four runs on four hits and one walk with 11 strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Bibee surrendered a solo home run to Jeimer Candelario in the first, then he was taken deep by him again for a three-run shot in the sixth. Otherwise, Bibee mostly looked fantastic with a season-high 11 strikeouts and a stretch where he retired 11 straight hitters. On the season, Bibee owns a 3.94 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 87:20 K:BB through 13 starts and lines up for a home matchup against the Mariners next Wednesday.

Bassitt gave up five hits and four walks over five scoreless innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Brewers. He struck out five.

It didn't come easy for Bassitt, as he had to contend with the bases loaded in both the first and fourth innings, though he'd manage to escape unscathed. After a shaky start to the year, the 35-year-old Bassitt's been solid since the start of May, pitching to a 2.25 ERA over his last eight outings. Overall, he's 6-6 with a 3.56 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 75:32 K:BB across 78.1 innings this season. Bassitt is currently in line to face the Red Sox at home in his next outing.

Lodolo (7-2) earned the win against the Guardians on Wednesday, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

After retiring the first three batters he faced, Lodolo had traffic on the bases all night but limited the damage to just two runs. Lodolo even hit two batters, but he was able to battle for his fourth consecutive win and third straight quality start. Despite two stints on the injured list, Lodolo has had a huge bounceback season and now owns a 2.93 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 62:15 K:BB through 10 starts. He tentatively lines up to face the Pirates next Monday.

Civale did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Cubs, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with six strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Civale loaded the bases in the first inning but got out of the jam and pitched well other than a solo home run by Seiya Suzuki in the fourth inning. Civale left the game an out shy of a quality start with a 2-1 lead, but a Cody Bellinger three-run homer in the seventh prevented him from earning his first win since April 9. On the season, Civale now owns a 5.20 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 74:20 K:BB in 14 starts and lines up to start next Tuesday against the Twins.

Assad did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-3 win over Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Assad opened with two scoreless frames then allowed a run in the third on a double by Isaac Paredes and another on a solo home run by Jose Siri in the fourth. With two runners on and two outs in the fifth, Assad was pulled at 90 pitches with a 2-1 deficit. Since his last win on May 15, Assad has failed to reach six innings or record a win in five straight outings and has seen his ERA climb from 1.49 to 2.81. He tentatively lines up for a home matchup against the Giants next Monday.

Silseth (elbow) struck out three and gave up six earned runs on four hits and five walks over 2.2 innings Tuesday in his rehab start with Triple-A Salt Lake.

Silseth struck out 10 over seven shutout innings between his first two rehab outings in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, but he struggled with both his control and command Tuesday while shifting his rehab to a higher-level affiliate. The Angels had hoped that he would build up to about five innings in Tuesday's rehab outing, but he fell well short of that benchmark, even though he pushed up his pitch count to 71 (35 strikes) after tossing 56 pitches in his prior outing in the ACL. Though Silseth could be a candidate to return from the 60-day injured list to rejoin the big-league rotation as soon as Sunday in San Francisco, the Angels may prefer to have him make one more start in the minors to iron out his control.

Lively (undisclosed) is listed as the Guardians' probable starting pitcher for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays in Toronto.

Lively experienced some unspecified tightness during his most recent start in Miami on Saturday, when he tossed five shutout innings prior to being lifted. The issue won't result in Lively's turn being skipped, but he'll be pushed back in the schedule and given a full week off before stepping back into the rotation. After joining the Guardians this offseason on a modest one-year, $750,000 contract, Lively has been a valuable piece of the Cleveland rotation in 2024, going 6-2 with a 2.59 ERA and 1.11 WHIP over 55.2 innings across 10 starts.
