Littell didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on four hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out six.

Littell coughed up three runs to the Phillies in first appearance of the season as a reliever, but he showed improvement as a starter Monday. The right-hander yielded a lone extra-base hit but was able to throw only 70 pitches, the latter of which is likely because he didn't sign with the Nationals until early March. Littell tentatively lines up to face the Brewers in his next scheduled start over the weekend, and he'll be hoping to further stretch himself out.

DeGrom didn't factor into the decision after allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out six across five innings Monday against the Mariners. After the game, deGrom noted that he felt tenderness in his knee, and the team elected not to send him back out for the sixth inning as a result, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

DeGrom mentioned after his appearance that he felt something in his knee before Monday's start, and it didn't work itself out while he was on the bump. The club was pleased with how he looked over five innings of work and didn't want to push him too hard given the fact that his knee wasn't feeling 100 percent. "I feel okay, it's a little tender, but I think we'll be okay," said deGrom, per McFarland. It doesn't appear as though fantasy managers should be overly concerned at this point, though it'll be worth keeping an eye on the right-hander's status leading up to his next start, which tentatively lines up for Sunday against the Dodgers.

Scherzer exited Monday's start against the Dodgers early due to right forearm tendinitis, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports. He allowed two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out two over two innings and took the loss.

Scherzer departed Monday's outing after only 36 pitches, though the team waited until after the game to reveal the reason for his exit. Manager John Schneider stated after the loss that Scherzer had been experiencing the tendinitis for a few days leading up to the start, and the issue didn't get any worse, per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. The expectation is that Scherzer will make his next start, which tentatively lines up for Saturday against Minnesota.

Kuehler (elbow) allowed two runs on five hits and struck out three over three innings Saturday against High-A Asheville. He didn't factor into the decision.

Kuehler has been given a clean bill of health after undergoing Tommy John surgery late in 2024. He hasn't worked beyond High-A in his brief professional career, and he'll aim to continue his development with the Emperors to begin the 2026 campaign.

Meyer has a shoulder strain and will be out 12-to-16 weeks, the Marlins' television broadcast reports.

Meyer was the Marlins' first-round pick in 2023, but his career has failed to launch so far. He was able to pitch 65.1 innings last year at High-A Beloit, posting a 4.41 ERA and 1.40 WHIP. He's posted high strikeout and high walk rates throughout his professional career.

White (oblique) will make his second rehab assignment for Single-A Jupiter on Wednesday, the Marlins' television broadcast reports.

White made it through 2.1 innings in his first outing, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk while striking out four. He'll ultimately end up at Triple-A Jacksonville once he's up to speed.

Lodolo is using a new "resource" to deal with his blister issue and is making some progress in his recovery. He played catch on Monday, Charlie Goldsmith of Charlie's Chalkboard reports.

This is not the first time that Lodolo has dealt with the blister issue, and yet one of the problems for him is the lack of a blister specialist to help him out. "Everyone's skin is different," Lodolo said. "How it feels, how you throw the ball, how it comes off of your finger, the pressure. A lot of guys are more middle finger on the ball. I'm more index finger heavy. It's about figuring out how we can manage it. I threw a good amount last year, and it only happened once."

Corniell remains unavailable to pitch as he goes through a "dead arm" phase, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Corniell missed nearly all of spring training and it's unclear when he might be ready to pitch in games. The 22-year-old is likely to be part of the rotation at Double-A Frisco once he's physically ready. Corniell missed all of 2024 and much of 2025 while recovering from UCL surgery, so he needs to make up for lost time.

Santos (hand) will make his season debut with Double-A Frisco on Thursday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Santos is finally ready to pitch in a game after recovering from a fractured left (non-throwing) hand that he suffered in late February. Slated to turn 24 next week, Santos is on the Rangers' 40-man roster and has a chance to debut at some point this season.

The Athletics optioned Morales to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.

Morales had a disastrous first two starts of the season, allowing 10 runs on 13 hits (including four home runs) with a 5:8 K:BB over 7.1 innings. The 23-year-old is one of the Athletics' most talented young arms and showed promise last season, but he'll hope to get sorted out at Las Vegas before getting another opportunity with the big club. The A's have yet to announce who will take Morales' spot in the rotation, but moving J.T. Ginn from the bullpen to the rotation is one option.
