The Athletics recalled Morris from Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday.
The 24-year-old made his big-league debut earlier this season, appearing in three games, and was hammered for 13 runs on 19 hits and six walks with six strikeouts across 10 innings. He was used exclusively as a starter with Las Vegas but figures to rejoin the bullpen with the Athletics.
