Walker (1-1) took the loss Monday against San Francisco, allowing six runs (four earned) on six hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out five.

The Philadelphia right-hander finally gave up an earned run, as the Giants plated all six runs in a chaotic second inning that was fueled by four hits, a walk and an error. Despite the less-than-stellar outing, Walker still managed to generate a solid 10 whiffs out of his 99 total pitches. His ERA now stands at 2.30 after 15.2 innings, but his rotation spot is precarious as Ranger Suarez (back) is making rehab starts and likely to return soon. Walker should get at least one more turn in the rotation, which currently lines up to be against Miami at home this weekend.

Carrasco (2-1) allowed a run on one hit and two walks over five innings Monday, striking out four and earning a win over the Royals.

The lone blemish in Carrasco's outing was Bobby Witt's solo home run in the third inning. It was Carrasco's first start of the year with fewer than three runs allowed and he dropped his ERA to 5.94 through 16.2 frames. He threw 49 of 79 pitches fo strikes and generated 10 whiffs, including five with his changeup. Carrasco is projected for a road matchup against the Rays this weekend.

Lugo (1-2) allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks over 6.2 innings Monday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Yankees.

Lugo worked three shutout frames before Jazz Chisholm knocked a solo homer in the fourth inning. All four runs against Lugo came on solo home runs in the fourth and fifth frames. Entering Monday's start, he'd given up just one homer through 16.1 innings and this was his first time allowing multiple home runs in an outing since June 4, 2024. Lugo now owns a 3.86 ERA with a 16:9 K:BB over four starts this season. He's currently projected to start in Detroit this weekend.

Baz (2-0) earned the win Monday versus Boston, striking out 11 over six one-run innings. He allowed two hits and no walks.

Baz was utterly dominant in this 98-pitch outing, generating an incredible 17 whiffs to set a new career best in Ks at 11. The only blemish on the right-hander's performance was a solo shot hit by Kristian Campbell in the third inning. Baz now sports a 1.42 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 27:4 K:BB across 19 innings. The 25-year-old faces another tough lineup in his next start, currently projected to be against the Yankees at home this weekend.

Lucas (2-1) yielded eight runs on six hits and four walks over five innings Monday, striking out three and taking a loss against Atlanta.

Lucas was taken deep three times Monday, starting with Sean Murphy's two-run shot in the first inning before Austin Riley went deep twice. Lucas threw 10.1 scoreless frames in his first two starts before this brutal performance. His ERA jumped to 4.70 with a 14:7 K:BB through 15.1 frames. Lucas is currently lined up to face the Mariners at home this weekend.

Houck (0-2) took the loss Monday against the Rays, allowing 12 runs (11 earned) on 10 hits and two walks over 2.1 innings with one strikeout.

The Boston right-hander yielded a career-worst 11 earned runs in this outing as the Tampa lineup swatted two homers and eight singles. Houck lasted only 61 pitches and raised his ERA from 4.41 to 9.16. Houck is off to a rough start in 2025, as he also sports a 1.93 WHIP and 11:9 K:BB across 18.2 innings. He is currently scheduled to make his next start against the White Sox at home this weekend.

Holmes (1-1) yielded three runs on two hits and two walks over 7.2 innings Monday, striking out four and earning a win over the Blue Jays.

Holmes was perfect through four innings and did not allow a hit until Myles Straw's solo homer in the sixth. Toronto then plated two more runs in the eighth. Holmes threw 63 of 94 pitches for strikes in the longest start of his MLB career. Through four outings this season, he owns a 3.78 ERA with a 15:10 K:BB. Holmes is currently in line for a home matchup with the Twins this weekend.

Skenes (2-1) earned the win Monday against the Nationals, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out six.

After allowing a career-worst five runs in his last outing against St. Louis, Skenes looked much sharper in this 99-pitch start. The reigning NL Rookie of the Year induced 10 whiffs in his first career regular-season matchup with the Nationals. Skenes has continued to be a fantasy ace, pitching to a 2.96 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 26:3 K:BB across 24.1 innings. The right-hander lines up to make his next start against the Guardians at home this weekend.

The Rockies transferred Criswell (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Monday.

The move frees a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of Braxton Fulford. Criswell will miss the 2025 season and likely part of the 2026 campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Snell (shoulder) resumed his throwing program Monday by playing catch, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Snell landed on the 15-day injured list April 6 due to left shoulder inflammation that he initially tried to pitch through. He was shut down from throwing following his placement on the IL, but Monday's session indicates that the 32-year-old is progressing in his recovery, though he'll need to work up to bullpen sessions before the Dodgers have a better idea of a return date for the veteran southpaw. Snell noted after the throwing session that he felt better than expected, and the club is hopeful he'll throw again Tuesday, per Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com.
