Melton (1-0) allowed on run on two hits and three walks while striking out three over 5.2 innings to earn the win in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Orioles.

Melton threw 48 of 79 pitches for strikes in his first big-league game since last September. He had been sidelined for the first two months of this season due to an elbow strain. The three walks showed some rust, but it was otherwise a positive outing, albeit in a favorable matchup. Last year, he had a 2.76 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 36:15 K:BB over 45.2 innings across 16 regular-season appearances (four starts). Melton is tentatively projected to start versus the White Sox on the road in his next outing.

Lopez (4-2) earned the win Sunday against the Padres. He allowed one run on six hits and a walk while striking out three over 4.2 innings.

After Luis Medina recorded four outs as the opener, Lopez entered in the second inning and was able to work through traffic to limit the Padres' scoring efforts en route to the win. The southpaw has struggled with homers this season but managed to keep the ball in the yard Sunday after allowing at least one long ball in each of his previous four appearances. It remains to be seen whether the Athletics will continue deploying Lopez behind an opener, though he'll carry a 5.73 ERA, 1.77 WHIP and 35:31 K:BB across 48.2 innings (11 games) into his next outing, which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Yankees.

Ray did not factor into Sunday's decision against the White Sox, allowing four runs on two hits and seven walks while striking out three across four innings.

Ray put the Giants behind early after giving up a leadoff home run to Chase Meidroth in the first inning. Ray struggled with his command, logging only 47 strikes on 92 pitches while issuing a career-worst seven walks, and he allowed at least two baserunners in four of the five innings he pitched. Ray has given up 14 runs (13 earned) over his last two starts, ballooning his numbers to a 4.60 ERA and 1.38 WHIP over 58.2 innings. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, which is slated for next weekend on the road against the Rockies.

Marlins president of baseball operations Peter Bendix said Sunday that White is recovering from "a bit of a shoulder thing," Kyle Sielaff of Marlins.tv reports.

Triple-A Jacksonville placed White on its 7-day injured list, but Bendix indicated that the injury isn't a long-term concern for the 21-year-old lefty, who is regarded as one of the organization's top pitching prospects. Assuming he's able to rebound quickly from the shoulder issue, White will have plenty of time to build momentum for a potential promotion to the big leagues later on this season. White had compiled a 4.34 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB in 18.2 innings through his first five starts with Jacksonville prior to landing on the IL.

Brown (shoulder) struck out five and gave up one hit and no walks over two scoreless innings Sunday in a rehab start for Double-A Corpus Christi.

Brown opened his rehab assignment on a high note, spotting 21 of his 35 pitches for strikes while generating seven whiffs. The Houston ace is eligible to return from the injured list June 1, but general manager Dana Brown said earlier Sunday that the Astros are targeting the middle of next month for his activation, per Brian McTaggart of MLB.com. The Astros are planning for Brown to build up to around 75 pitches prior to adding him back to the rotation, so he'll likely need at least two more starts in the minors to complete his ramp-up process.

Schultz (2-4) took the loss against the Giants on Sunday, allowing six runs on six hits and one walk while striking out one batter across four innings.

It was another tough outing for Schultz, who has given up at least three earned runs in each of his last four starts. He put the White Sox in an early 4-1 hole through three innings before being charged for another two runs in the fifth after Grant Taylor gave up a grand slam to Rafael Devers. Schultz now sits at a 5.82 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 33:22 K:BB across 38.2 innings this season and has been tagged with the loss in three of his last four appearances. His next start is tentatively slated for next weekend at home against the Tigers.

Lauer is slated to make his team debut in a start Tuesday against the Rockies at Dodger Stadium, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Acquired from the Blue Jays last Sunday, Lauer went unused during his first week with the Dodgers but will move into the team's six-man rotation Tuesday after Los Angeles recently lost Blake Snell (elbow) to the injured list. After serving as a key depth piece in the rotation and bullpen for Toronto in 2025, Lauer was unable to replicate those results this season, posting a 6.69 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 26:16 K:BB across 36.1 innings in eight appearances (six starts) before being dealt to Los Angeles. The veteran southpaw will get a soft landing spot in his first appearance as a Dodger, facing off against a Rockies squad that entered Sunday ranking last in the majors with a 68 wRC+ against left-handed pitching.

Scott took a no-decision Sunday against the Marlins, allowing no runs on four hits and two walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Scott delivered arguably his best effort of the campaign so far, turning in his first scoreless start while completing a season-best 5.2 frames. Control has perhaps been the 26-year-old right-hander's biggest impediment in 2026, as the hurler has hit at least one batter and also walked multiple hitters in four of his first five outings. Scott owns a 3.20 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 30:14 K:BB across 25.1 innings heading into next weekend's scheduled rematch at home versus Miami.

Sproat (1-3) took the loss Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on four hits and four walks in four-plus innings. He struck out seven.

Although Sproat did register a career-high seven punchouts, he was unable to record an out in the fifth inning before being chased. The 25-year-old right-hander has now issued multiple free passes in nine of his 10 appearances on the year but has been especially wild of late, walking at least three while also hitting a batter in three of his past four outings. Sproat will take a rough 5.84 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 48:27 K:BB over 44.2 frames into his next scheduled start against the Astros in Houston.

Yamamoto (4-4) earned the win Sunday against the Brewers, allowing one run on seven hits and one walk in seven innings. He struck out three.

Yamamoto continues to supply the Dodgers with plenty of length, having lasted at least six innings in all but one of his 10 starts on the campaign. The 27-year-old right-hander did give up a season-worst seven knocks Sunday, but that didn't stop him from working at least seven frames for the fourth time already this year. Yamamoto has a strong 3.09 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 59:13 K:BB over 64 innings, but he's lined up for a tough test next weekend against the Phillies.
