Fried didn't factor into the decision during Sunday's win over the Mets, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over six innings.

Fried's excellent start to 2025 continued Sunday, as he notched his seventh quality start in his last eight appearances while allowing no extra-base hits. The 31-year-old has yet to allow more than two earned runs in a start this season and has punched out eight or more hitters in three outings. Fried is tied for the league lead in wins (six) and sits atop MLB in ERA (1.29) among qualified players.

Peterson didn't factor into the decision during Sunday's loss to the Yankees, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks across six innings. He struck out four.

Peterson started slowly, with leadoff hitter Paul Goldschmidt reaching on a throwing error in the first inning before back-to-back doubles by Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger yielded a pair of runs. The 29-year-old southpaw kept the Yankees from adding any more runs, but his efforts weren't enough to land a victory. Peterson has now logged three consecutive quality starts, though he's walked 11 batters in 18.0 innings during that stretch. On the year, Peterson has a 2.86 ERA over 50.1 innings. He's lined up to face the Dodgers next weekend.

Oritz (2-5) yielded two runs on six hits and two walks over five innings Sunday, striking out seven and taking a loss against the Reds.

Ortiz worked around some danger to keep Cincinnati off the board for three innings before serving up a two-run shot to Will Benson in the fourth. Ortiz has struck out at least seven batters in five of his nine starts this season, resulting in a 56:23 K:BB through 48.1 frames. He threw 100 pitches for the third time this season and generated 16 whiffs, including nine with his slider. Ortiz will carry a 4.66 ERA into his next matchup, which is projected to be in Detroit.

Abbott (3-0) yielded four hits and three walks over five shutout innings Sunday, striking out five and earning a win over the Guardians.

Abbott kept Cleveland scoreless for five frames but needed to work around some danger, including a bases-loaded threat in the first inning. He tied his season high with 96 pitches and forced 16 swinging strikes, including eight with his fastball. Abbott has allowed fewer than two runs in six of his seven starts this season, resulting in a terrific 1.80 ERA and a 43:15 K:BB through 35 frames. His next matchup is expected to be at home against the Cubs.

Bello (2-1) took the loss against Atlanta on Sunday, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and five walks with three strikeouts over 4.1 innings

Bello dealt with constant traffic on the basepaths and managed just 52 strikes on 92 pitches, generating only four whiffs. After allowing only seven earned runs over his first five starts, the 26-year-old has now failed to complete five innings in three consecutive outings. He'll carry a 4.02 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 20:19 K:BB across 31.1 innings into a home matchup with the Orioles next weekend.

Schwellenbach (3-3) earned the win against the Red Sox on Sunday, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk with three strikeouts over seven innings.

Schwellenbach surrendered a grand slam to Rafael Devers in the third inning but otherwise turned in six scoreless frames. The 24-year-old needed just 81 pitches to notch his second consecutive seven-inning outing, though he's recorded only six strikeouts over those two starts. He'll carry a 3.52 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 49:12 K:BB across 61.1 innings into a home matchup with the Padres next weekend.

Berrios did not factor in the decision during Sunday's loss to Detroit. He yielded two runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings while striking out four.

Berrios wasn't at his sharpest and had to work out of a few jams during his quality start. He coughed up a two-run double to Spencer Torkelson in the first inning before delivering five scoreless frames. Berrios has turned in five quality starts this season and four over his last six appearances. During that six-start stretch, he's produced a 3.57 ERA, dropping his season number to 4.19 across 58 innings. Berrios is projected to start in Tampa Bay next weekend.

Kelly (5-2) picked up the win Sunday against Colorado, allowing one hit and three walks with 11 strikeouts over seven scoreless innings.

Kelly dominated the Rockies, tossing his first scoreless start of 2025 and setting season-best marks in hits allowed and strikeouts. The 36-year-old has been stellar this year outside of a blowup start against the Yankees on April 3, owning a 1.99 ERA and a 50:12 K:BB over 54.1 innings in his other appearances. He's expected to take the mound again next weekend during a road series against the Cardinals.

Dollander (2-5) took the loss Sunday against Arizona, allowing one run on three hits and two walks with six strikeouts across 4.2 innings.

Dollander and Merrill Kelly were locked into a pitchers' duel Sunday, and Ketel Marte's first-inning solo home run proved to be the difference in Colorado's 1-0 loss. Dollander got off to a rough start to the season, logging a 7.91 ERA in his first four starts. However, he's allowed two or fewer runs in three of his last four outings and has allowed just four hits with 13 strikeouts over his last two starts. He's scheduled to face the Yankees at Coors Field next weekend.

Jobe (4-0) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks over six innings Sunday, striking out five and earning a win over Toronto.

Jobe worked through three scoreless innings before the Blue Jays plated a pair of runs in the fourth. It was his second quality start of the year and first since April 12 in Minnesota. Jobe tossed 52 of 90 pitches for strikes and generated 12 whiffs. He produced 14 in his last outing, which was the first time he hit double-digits in his MLB career. Jobe now owns a 4.12 ERA with a 32:22 K:BB through eight starts. He's projected to face Cleveland at home for his next outing.
