Zack Greinke SP | KC
Diamondbacks' Zack Greinke: Picks up 15th win over San Francisco
Greinke (15-6) allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits with four strikeouts over 6.2 innings to earn the win Friday against the Giants.
Greinke has now thrown quality starts in six consecutive home outings dating all the way back to July 1 against Colorado. In that stretch, Greinke owns a 2.14 ERA and a 42:7 K:BB. Greinke has had his struggles on the road this year (4.28 ERA, 1.34 WHIP), but he has been reliable as can be at Chase Field.

Michael Wacha SP | KC
Cardinals' Michael Wacha: Takes third straight loss
Wacha (9-7) allowed five runs on nine hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 3.1 innings in a loss Friday to the Rays.
Wacha has now allowed five runs in consecutive starts and hasn't thrown a quality start since Aug. 8 against Kansas City. Steven Souza Jr. touched Wacha up for his fourth home run in his past three starts, the main factor behind his current cold streak. Wacha had allowed just 11 home runs over his first 21 starts, good for a 0.8 HR/9 and an excellent mark in today's homer-happy environment. If Wacha wants to turn it around, he'll need to find a way to keep the ball in the yard.

Tyler Mahle SP | ATL
Reds' Tyler Mahle: To make major league debut Sunday
Mahle will be called up to start Sunday against Pittsburgh, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Mahle owns a sharp 2.73 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 10 starts at Triple-A Louisville, a particularly impressive accomplishment at just 22 years old. Expect the Reds to hold off on making a roster move until after Saturday night's game, as they will need to make a move to clear a 40-man roster spot for his ascent.

Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Gets back on track in Friday victory
DeGrom (14-7) allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out 10 over 7 .2 innings to earn the win Friday against the Nationals.
DeGrom held the Nats scoreless until allowing a run in the eighth inning, but he left the contest with a two-run lead that the bullpen was able to protect. After allowing five runs in two consecutive starts, he was able to get back on track against his division rivals. It's likely that his poor outings were merely a hiccup, and he should be able to finish the season on a strong note and help fantasy managers down the stretch. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Reds.

Jerad Eickhoff SP | PIT
Phillies' Jerad Eickhoff: Fans eight in Friday victory
Eickhoff (4-7) allowed one run on five hits and three walks while striking out eight across five innings to earn the victory Friday against the Cubs.
Eickhoff gave up a solo homer to Kyle Schwarber in the first inning before silencing the Cubs' bats over his final four innings, leading to his fourth victory of the campaign. He's held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of his last seven outings, and although his 4.46 ERA looks bad, he's lowered it from 5.22 over his past 10 outings and become a decent fantasy option. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Braves.

Jose Quintana SP | COL
Cubs' Jose Quintana: Roughed up for six runs in Friday loss
Quintana (4-3) allowed six runs on nine hits and four walks while striking out seven across five innings to take the loss Friday against the Phillies.
Quintana was rocked for all six of his runs in the first two innings before settling down, but the game was already out of hand. After posting a 2.37 ERA over his first three starts with his new team, that number has increased almost two full runs in the five outings since. Overall, a couple of poor outings have been the exception, and he's otherwise been a reliable fantasy option. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Pirates.

Johnny Cueto SP | LAA
Giants' Johnny Cueto: Second rehab game scheduled
Cueto (forearm) will make a rehab start with High-A San Jose on Sunday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Following Wednesday's successful rehab start, in which he threw 47 pitches over three scoreless frames, Cueto is set to take the mound again. As long as his upcoming outing goes as planned, a return for San Francisco's series against the Cardinals at the end of next week should be in order.

Seth Lugo SP | KC
Mets' Seth Lugo: Set to start Sunday
Lugo (shoulder) was named the starter for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against Washington, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
Lugo successfully threw a bullpen session Friday and will be ready to face the high-powered Nationals on Sunday. Lugo, whose last start came Aug. 11 against the Phillies, will carry a 4.85 ERA and 1.41 WHIP into Sunday's contest.

Ross Stripling SP | KC
Dodgers' Ross Stripling: Starting Saturday against Milwaukee
Stripling was named the starter for Saturday's game against the Brewers, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Earlier in the week, manager Dave Roberts said that Stripling was viewed as a candidate to start Saturday's contest. Stripling has only been used as a reliever this season and has thrown 58 innings over 35 games, during which he's built a respectable 3.41 ERA and 1.21 WHIP. Yu Darvish (back) is scheduled to be activated from the DL on Sunday, and Clayton Kershaw (back) is approaching his return as well, so Stripling will likely return to the bullpen after Saturday's contest.

Stephen Strasburg SP | WAS
Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Experienced calf cramps Thursday but not worried
Strasburg exited his Thursday start due to calf cramps, but he said he's "not worried," Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
The right-hander has had plenty of brilliant outings cut short by injury, but the club probably wanted to monitor his second start back from the disabled list anyway, so even a minor injury played into that plan. Strasburg dazzled during the six innings he was on the hill, so despite the normally heightened concerns with anything related to his health, this doesn't appear to be a long-term issue. He next lines up to toe the rubber Tuesday when Washington hosts the Marlins.
