Peralta (17-6) earned the win Tuesday, allowing a run on two hits and two walks over six innings against the Angels. He struck out 10.

Peralta was excellent Tuesday, with the only damage against him coming via a solo homer by Denzer Guzman in the fifth inning. The victory is the right-hander's 17th of the season, tying Max Fried for the MLB lead and continuing to improve his career high. Peralta has been dominant all year, carrying a 2.65 ERA and 1.07 WHIP across 31 starts and 169.2 innings.

Sanchez allowed four runs on seven hits and struck out six without walking a batter over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Sanchez gave up three runs in the second inning and one more in the fourth. The Phillies' offense couldn't get anything going early on, as Shohei Ohtani threw five no-hit innings, but the Dodgers' bullpen was far less formidable. Sanchez has allowed a total of seven runs over his last 27 innings and is now at a 2.66 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 198:43 K:BB through 189.1 innings across 30 starts this season. He's tentatively projected for a home start versus the Marlins next week, which would be his last of the regular season if the Phillies continue to roll with a six-man rotation.

Rodriguez allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out two over five innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Tuesday.

Rodriguez had logged wins and quality starts in three straight outings before this poor showing. The Giants rallied for four runs in the first inning, and Wilmer Flores added a solo shot in the third, but the Diamondbacks had the game tied in the fifth to make it a no-decision for Rodriguez. The southpaw's recent improvements have partially made up for an up-and-down season -- he's posted a 5.12 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 132:56 K:BB through 142.1 innings over 27 starts. He's lined up to make his next start at home versus the Dodgers.

Freeland (4-16) allowed six runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out one over 5.2 innings to take the loss versus the Marlins.

Freeland hadn't allowed six runs in a start since Aug. 6 versus the Blue Jays. He was fading in the sixth inning when a rain delay occurred, bringing his start to a close at 73 pitches (52 strikes). The veteran southpaw is now at a 5.14 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 113:36 K:BB through 150.2 innings across 29 starts this season. He's projected for a home start versus the Angels over the weekend.

Perez (7-5) allowed one hit and struck out six without walking a batter over five scoreless innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Perez likely had more to give, but a rain delay cut his start short at 71 pitches (46 strikes). It was still an improvement on his recent work -- he had allowed a total of 29 runs (27 earned) over 31 innings across his last seven starts, posting a 7.84 ERA in that span. The 22-year-old has shown flashes of potential this season, mainly in July, but he's also displayed plenty of inconsistency. He's at a 4.40 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 85:28 K:BB through 86 innings across 18 starts. He's projected for another road start over the weekend against the Rangers.

Abbott (9-7) took the loss against the Cardinals on Tuesday, allowing three runs on eight hits over 4.2 innings. He struck out seven.

The left-hander gave up an early sacrifice fly before surrendering a two-run homer to Thomas Saggese in the third inning, and he received no run support from the Reds' offense. Abbott needed 96 pitches to get through 4.2 frames, marking the third time in his last five outings he's failed to complete five innings -- a stretch marked by inconsistency despite flashes of dominance. The 26-year-old will take a 2.88 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 143:42 K:BB across 156.1 innings into his next scheduled start against the Cubs.

McGreevy (7-3) earned the win over the Reds on Tuesday, allowing three hits and three walks across seven scoreless innings. He struck out six.

McGreevy delivered the longest scoreless outing of his career (17 starts), capping it off by striking out five of the final six batters he faced. The right-hander has been a steady source of innings lately, going at least six frames in eight of his last nine starts, though he's posted a middling 3.57 ERA across 53 innings in that span due to occasional blow-up outings. On the season, the 25-year-old now owns a 4.08 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 53:15 K:BB across 86 innings. He's lined up to face the Giants in his next scheduled outing, a potentially tough matchup given San Francisco's .767 OPS against right-handers in September.

Manaea (2-3) allowed a run on four hits over five relief innings Tuesday, striking out four and earning a win over the Padres.

Manaea was scheduled to piggyback Clay Holmes, and the veteran southpaw delivered a strong performance. The only damage against Manaea came via Freddy Fermin's solo shot in the eighth inning. Manaea had given up at least four runs in six of his previous seven starts, resulting in a 7.71 ERA over 32.2 frames. The Mets moved him back to the bullpen for Tuesday's game, and he'll likely continue working a similar role down the stretch. Manaea now owns a 5.40 ERA with a 68:10 K:BB through 55 innings.

King (4-3) yielded eight runs on 10 hits over three-plus innings Tuesday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Mets.

King was cursed by the long ball, as he gave up four home runs in the short outing, including Brett Baty's two-run blast to cap off the Mets' five-run first inning. King gave up six total homers in his first 11 starts this season, but has now been taken deep six times in two appearances since returning from the injured list in early September. He has not finished six innings in a start since May 6, and his season ERA climbed to 3.84 with a 69:20 K:BB over 65.2 innings. King is currently lined up for a road start against the White Sox this weekend.

Holmes did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's win against San Diego. He allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out two over four innings.

Holmes was relieved by Sean Manaea in the fifth inning in what was a scheduled move by the Mets to benefit both veteran arms. The only two runs against Holmes came via solo homers by Jackson Merrill and Jake Cronenworth in the second and third innings. Holmes threw a season-low 53 pitches Tuesday, as he continues to show signs of fatigue in his first year as a full-time MLB starter. He posted a 2.99 ERA through his first 17 starts but has since produced a 4.96 ERA over his last 13 outings. That's resulted in a 3.77 season ERA with a 124:63 K:BB over 155 innings. Holmes is currently slated for a home matchup with Washington this weekend.
