Wright was recalled from the alternate training site and will start Friday against the Cubs.

The 25-year-old missed out on a rotation spot to begin the season but will join the big-league club after spending the last few weeks at the alternate training site. Wright should receive at least a couple turns through the rotation, but he could get a longer look depending how long Drew Smyly (forearm) and Max Fried (hamstring) remain on the injured list.

Gomber allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Thursday.

Justin Turner smacked a three-run homer off Gomber, but the lefty was strong otherwise and was even briefly in line to beat the defending World Series champs before Yency Almonte coughed up the lead. Gomber, acquired in the Nolan Arenado trade, issued seven free passes over three innings in his Rockies debut at Coors Field. In two road starts since, Gomber has pitched 12.1 innings with only seven hits allowed, six walks and 12 strikeouts. Unfortunately, he's home again next week, but then Gomber projects for a couple more road starts the week of April 26.

Urias was charged with five runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings in a no-decision against the Rockies on Thursday.

The lefty gave up some hard-hit balls, including homers to Ryan McMahon and Garrett Hampson. Urias surrendered the lead in the sixth inning on back-to-back hits, and some sloppy defense helped put him in line for the loss before the Dodgers rallied against the Colorado bullpen. Urias, who is 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA and 15:3 K:BB through 18.2 innings this season, projects to face Seattle on the road early next week.

Anderson allowed three earned runs on six hits and four walks while striking out six across five innings Thursday against the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

Anderson didn't allow a long ball, which prevented this outing from becoming a disaster. However, he consistently fought his control -- only 57 of his 98 pitches were strikes -- and allowed 10 baserunners while recording only 15 outs. Anderson has had mixed results early on this season, as he's punched out 19 batters in only 15.1 frames, but he has yet to work more than 5.1 innings in any start this season and has a 4.70 ERA to show for it. He's in line to make his next start Wednesday at the Yankees.

Kelly (1-2) picked up a win after allowing six earned runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out two across six innings against the Nationals on Thursday.

Despite getting the win, Kelly didn't have his best showing. After giving up four runs in the first, Kelly settled in, firing four scoreless innings before allowing another run in both the sixth and seventh innings. He gave up two more homers, bringing his total to four in 14 innings so far. This was the second straight start in which Kelly couldn't get out of the first inning without allowing at least three runs, but he was fortunate to get plenty of backing from his offense. Kelly's next start is currently slated to come against Atlanta on April 24.

Rogers allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out seven across five innings Thursday against Atlanta. He did not factor into the decision.

Rogers continues to rack up strikeouts at an impressive rate, and he generated 14 swinging strikes to back his efforts Thursday. He was effectively wild, throwing 61 strikes on 95 total pitches. It's worth noting that he's walked multiple batters in each of his outings thus far, leading to a poor 5.4 BB/9. That said, Rogers has yet to be burned by his control issues because he's kept the ball in the yard -- though it's unclear how long that will last if he continues to generate groundballs at only a 21.4 percent clip. Despite some concerns, Rogers maintains an impressive 2.40 ERA across 15 innings through his first three starts and will look to maintain the strong results in his next outing Wednesday against Baltimore.

Corbin (0-2) allowed 10 runs (nine earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out one across two innings to take the loss against the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

Corbin has struggled since coming off the COVID-19 IL, including surrendering three home runs in the first two innings of Thursday's game. In two starts, the 31-year-old has given up 15 earned runs in 6.1 innings with a 6:7 K:BB. He's coming off a nice spring in which his velocity was up, but that hasn't persisted into the regular season. Corbin will look to turn things around against the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Cueto was diagnosed with a Grade 1 lat strain and was placed on the injured list Thursday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Cueto was removed early from his start Wednesday with the injury, and it was presumed he would land on the injured list. That news became official, though it is positive that he was diagnosed with a low-level strain. A corresponding move will be made by the team Friday, though Logan Webb is a strong candidate to re-join the rotation in Cueto's absence.

Freeland (shoulder) has increased his throwing intensity recently but still hasn't thrown off a mound, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

Freeland recently resumed playing light catch and has continued to make progress over the past week. He joined the Rockies for their current road trip in Los Angeles, but he still doesn't have a timetable to return to game action. The left-hander will have to get back on the mound and build back up before he's cleared to make his season debut. Chi Chi Gonzalez should continue to serve as a member of the starting rotation while Freeland is sidelined.

Paddack (1-1) earned the win Thursday after holding the Pirates to three runs (one earned) on five hits and a pair of walks while striking out four across five innings.

After giving up an RBI double to Erik Gonzalez in the second inning, Paddack blanked the Padres until a throwing error by Tucupita Marcano in the fifth allowed a pair of runs to score. Overall, Paddack looked his best of the season, pitching past four innings for the first time while recording a season-high four strikeouts. The 25-year-old's spring training struggles carried over into his first two starts, so it was promising to see him straighten things out. Paddack is slated to pitch again Tuesday against the Brewers.
