Stroman (6-4) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-1 victory over the Padres, allowing one run on six hits and a walk over 6.1 innings. He struck out eight.

The right-hander held the Padres off the board until serving up a solo shot to Fernando Tatis in the seventh inning. Stroman has won three straight decisions, with his last loss coming May 16, and he's reeled off five straight quality starts, giving him nine in 14 trips to the mound this year. He'll take a 2.33 ERA and 67:18 K:BB through 77.2 innings into his next outing.

Musgrove (4-6) took the loss Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over 6.1 innings as the Padres fell 4-1 to the Mets. He struck out seven.

The right-hander kept San Diego in the game while delivering his fifth quality start of the season, but his offense couldn't climb out of an early hole after Musgrove served up a two-run shot to Francisco Lindor in the first inning. Musgrove will carry a 2.50 ERA and stellar 96:14 K:BB through 72 innings into his next outing.

Gausman (7-1) took the loss Saturday against the Nationals, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks across four innings. He fanned four.

Kyle Schwarber welcomed Gausman with a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first inning and the right-hander gave up another run on a Josh Harrison double in the fourth. With the Giants in search of offense in the seven-inning game, Gausman was pinch hit for in the top of the fifth, ending his day after just 64 pitches. Despite taking the loss, Gausman still boasts a sparkling 1.43 ERA and 0.78 WHIP to go along with an outstanding 97:18 K:BB through 81.2 innings. He should be relatively fresh when he takes the mound Thursday against Arizona.

Burnes allowed four runs (two earned) on eight hits and three walks with eight strikeouts across four innings versus Pittsburgh on Saturday. He did not factor in the decision.

Saturday marked just the second time in 11 starts he's allowed three walks, and the eight hits also matched a season high. Burnes didn't help his own cause much -- Pittsburgh's first two runs came on his own throwing error. His ERA ticked up to 2.13 with a 0.84 WHIP and 102:10 K:BB across 63.1 innings this season. The right-hander lines up for a road start in Colorado in next weekend's series.

Miley (6-4) picked up the win in Saturday's 10-3 victory over the Rockies, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out three.

The veteran southpaw got tagged for three runs in the second inning, but the Reds' offense erased the deficit in the third and kept on rolling. The quality start was the fifth of the season for Miley, and he'll take a 2.92 ERA and 51:17 K:BB through 61.2 innings into his next outing.

Marquez (4-6) took the loss Saturday, coughing up nine runs (eight earned) on 12 hits and two walks over five-plus innings as the Rockies were downed 10-3 by the Reds. He struck out five.

Ten of the 12 hits off Marquez were singles as the Reds peppered the Rockies into submission, and the right-hander tossed 93 pitches (58 strikes) before getting the hook with two on and nobody out in the sixth inning. He'll take a 4.60 ERA and 80:36 K:BB through 76.1 innings into his next outing.

DeGrom (elbow) underwent an MRI which came back clean Saturday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

DeGrom dominated the Padres through six innings Friday but left after just 80 pitches due to flexor tendinitis in his right elbow. He played catch Saturday, which seemingly backs up his optimism that he'll make his next start, which lines up to happen Wednesday against the Cubs.

Greene won a pitcher's duel for Double-A Chattanooga with Pensacola's Max Meyer on Friday night, throwing six shutout innings while striking out nine, Nick Trujillo of MLB.com reports.

Greene remains on fire for Chattanooga. He has at least seven strikeouts in every start and hasn't allowed more than three runs in any given start. He walked four batters Friday night, which is about the only blemish on his record this year, but even then his 3.1 BB/9 is accompanied by an elevated strikeout rate.

Keller was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Keller has given up six earned runs in 4.2 innings over his last two starts and his season ERA sits at 7.04 with a similarly uninspiring 1.80 WHIP. Wil Crowe, who was recalled in a corresponding move, could be an option to take Keller's rotation spot.

Rogers was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Saturday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. The stint should be minimal, according to McPherson.

Fortunately, Rogers already made his start this week, turning in a strong performance against the Rockies on Thursday. The COVID-19 IL includes reactions to vaccines, and with McPherson reporting that the stint should be minimal, it's quite possible Rogers is able to make a start next week.
