Darvish (7-2) beat the Dodgers on Monday, allowing one run on two hits and a walk with 11 strikeouts across six innings in San Diego's 6-2 victory.

Facing his former team, Darvish dazzled by recording nearly four times as many strikeouts as baserunners allowed. His lone major mistake was a first-pitch sinker in the third that Mookie Betts launched over the center field fence. The 34-year-old righty now has eight starts of at least six innings pitched and one or zero runs allowed in 15 turns and possesses an excellent 2.50 ERA and 0.92 WHIP.

Urias (9-3) lost Monday's 6-2 game against San Diego, allowing six runs on six hits and four walks with five strikeouts in four innings.

Urias was tormented by Manny Machado and Jake Cronenworth, who each recorded a homer and three RBI when facing the lefty. He's now received a decision in nine of his last 10 starts and the poor outing elevated his ERA from 3.54 to 3.99.

Kelly (3-7) won Monday's 5-1 game against Milwaukee, allowing one run on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in seven innings.

Kelly was finally able to get Arizona on track after the team had lost 17 straight games and showed extremely well, recording his first start of more than six innings with one or zero runs allowed in 15 turns. This was Kelly's first win since April and he'll look to keep the momentum going this weekend in San Diego.

Manager Luis Rojas said Monday that Lucchesi, who has been diagnosed with a UCL tear in his left elbow, will get a second opinion from doctors in the coming days, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Rojas noted that the club is still holding out hope that Lucchesi can rehab through the injury without getting Tommy John surgery, but it must be noted that UCL tears require the procedure far more often than not. The southpaw will receive another look from doctors later this week, at which point New York will likely determine his next steps. Even if he's somehow able to avoid surgery, Lucchesi is still almost certain to be in line for a multi-month absence.

Muller (0-1) took the loss in Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader against the Mets, allowing one run on one hit and two walks across four innings. He struck out three.

Muller made his first major-league appearance in relief June 16, allowing two runs on four hits in one inning against the Red Sox. He was sent back to Triple-A shortly after the rough first appearance but still got the call to start the first half of Monday's twin bill. He fared much better in his first big-league start, as the lone run charged to him came on a walk, pair of productive outs and wild pitch in the first inning. The left-hander was called up as the 27th man for the doubleheader, so unless Atlanta makes another transaction, he'll likely be heading back to Triple-A Gwinnett following Game 2.

Lucchesi was diagnosed with a significant UCL tear in his left elbow Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Lucchesi was placed on the injured list Saturday with inflammation in his left elbow and now his MRI has revealed what is likely to be the worst-case scenario. While the Mets have not provided an official plan for Lucchesi, UCL tears almost always require Tommy John surgery, which would put the southpaw out through the remainder of 2021 and likely a large portion of 2022.

DeGrom (7-2) picked up the win in Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader against Atlanta, striking out six while allowing one hit and two walks across five scoreless innings.

Prior to Sunday, it wasn't even known if deGrom would be able to start Monday after he exited his outing last Wednesday with shoulder soreness. The ace right-hander was indeed able to toe the rubber for the first half of the twin bill and was magnificent once again. He was limited to just 70 pitches (44 strikes), but he said the short outing was simply because the club "didn't want to overdo it" after last week's scare, per Tim Britton of The Athletic. DeGrom has remarkably not allowed a run in his last five starts, over which he's punched out 43 while allowing a total of seven hits and three walks. He'll look to stay on a roll when he takes the ball this weekend against the Phillies, where he should have the leeway to pitch deeper into the ballgame.

Eickhoff was confirmed as the starter for Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader versus Atlanta, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander will start in his Mets debut after Jacob deGrom covered five scoreless frames in the matinee. Eickhoff last pitched in the majors with the Phillies in 2019 and has a 5.52 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB over 44 innings this season at Triple-A Syracuse.

Sanchez (shoulder) was cleared last week to extend his throwing distance off flat ground to 75 feet, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Sanchez is conducting his rehab program for his shoulder injury at the Marlins' spring training facility in Jupiter, Fla., and he'll likely remain there for at least a few more weeks while he ramps up again following a lengthy shutdown. Given that Sanchez has not yet advanced to mound work, he seems unlikely to complete a full throwing program before the All-Star break arrives in mid-July.

Muller will start the first game of Monday's doubleheader with the Mets, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Muller will face the unenviable task of opposing Mets ace Jacob deGrom in Game 1 of the twin bill, making it difficult to depend on the lefty rookie to come away with a win even if he pitches well in his first MLB start. Ian Anderson is slated to start Game 2 of the twin bill.
