Walker won't start Thursday against the Pirates after the game was postponed due to rain, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The game will be made up via a doubleheader Saturday. The Mets have yet to announce their updated pitching plans, but Walker should still start during the four-game set this weekend.

Lorenzen (shoulder) won't rejoin the Reds until after the All-Star break, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The Reds were optimistic that Lorenzen could have been reinstated from the 10-day injured list as early as Saturday, but he'll remain on his rehab assignment during the All-Star break. Manager David Bell didn't sound concerned about the right-hander's status Thursday but said that keeping him out through the All-Star break will allow for the team to use him without limitations once activated.

Steele (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday and optioned to Triple-A Iowa, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

The left-hander has been on a rehab assignment with Iowa over the past couple weeks, and he'll remain with the minor-league club now that he's healthy. It's likely a temporary stay in the minors for Steele, who has a 2.03 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 21:7 K:BB across 13.1 innings for the Cubs this year.

Gray was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a rib cage strain.

Gray lasted seven innings for the second time this year in Wednesday's win over the Royals, but he apparently sustained a rib injury that will land him back on the injured list ahead of the All-Star break. The severity of the issue isn't yet clear, and whether he's able to return shortly after the All-Star break remains to be seen. Right-hander Tony Santillan was recalled from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move.

Webb (shoulder) is expected to start Friday's series opener at home versus Washington, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Webb has been out since early June with a right shoulder strain that also affected him in May. The right-hander will need to be officially reinstated from the injured list prior to making the start Friday. He made one rehab appearance with Triple-A Sacramento, allowing one run on a hit and a walk with one strikeout in two innings. The brevity of that outing could see Webb on a pitch count Friday.

Gray (2-4) earned the win Wednesday against Kansas City after tossing seven innings of two-run ball, allowing seven hits and two walks while fanning seven.

Gray completed seven innings for just the second time this season and delivered a strong performance across the board, limiting the walks once again and fanning at least seven for the fourth time over his last six outings. The veteran owns an excellent 2.56 ERA with a 41:9 K:BB across 31.2 innings during that six-game stretch. He heads into the break riding his best stretch of form so far this season.

Kershaw (forearm) will undergo an MRI on Friday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Manager Dave Roberts didn't express too much concern about Kershaw's injury Thursday, but he said that the team will know more about the severity once his test results are revealed. The southpaw landed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with left forearm inflammation. While he'll be eligible to return shortly after the All-Star break, Friday's MRI could help determine a recovery timetable.

Senzatela (2-8) took the loss Wednesday against the Diamondbacks after allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings.

All the damage against Senzatela came in the second inning when the Diamondbacks got to him for three runs on four singles and a sacrifice fly before he struck out Josh Rojas to end the frame. The 26-year-old righty went on to toss four more scoreless innings but was stuck with the loss after the Rockies failed to put up a run until the seventh. He's now put up quality outings in three of his last four starts and will head into the All-Star break with a 4.58 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 65:21 K:BB over 94.1 innings.

Oviedo (0-5) allowed two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out three over four innings in a loss to the Giants on Wednesday.

Oviedo struggled with his command again Wednesday. He managed to toss just 41 of his 80 pitches for strikes and walked four batters for the second time in his last three starts. He began the day with two straight walks and eventually loaded the bases before hitting Jason Vosler with a pitch to bring in the first run for the Giants. A pair of doubles would score another run the following inning but he was able to turn in two scoreless frames thereafter despite walking two more batters in the fourth. The 23-year-old has reached five innings just three times in 11 starts this season, making it difficult for him to pick up a win. He'll head into the All-Star break with a 5.09 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 40:30 K:BB over 53 innings.
