Green (1-2) was charged with the loss Friday versus the Cardinals after giving up three runs on four hits with four walks and three strikeouts over 3.1 innings.

The 22-year-old wasn't his usual self as his fastball sat around 95 mph rather than the usual triple digits, but it was apparently just an off night and there's no concern for injury, per Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer. The rookie flamethrower threw only 36 of his 66 pitches for strikes and generated just three swinging strikes. The Cardinals didn't muster any extra-base hits off him, but four walks, four singles and a hit batter provided plenty of scoring opportunities. Greene lines up for a tough matchup with the Padres next week and will look to get back on track after two straight losses.

Peralta allowed one run on three hits and two walks over five innings in Friday's loss to the Phillies. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Peralta yielded a walk and two hits in the first inning, including an RBI double off the bat of Bryce Harper. He then settled in and tossed four shutout frames. It was a promising outing after he entered Friday having given up nine runs through seven innings in his first two starts. Peralta will carry a 7.50 ERA into his projected start in Pittsburgh next week.

Corbin (0-3) allowed seven runs on seven hits and three walks over 1.2 innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Giants.

All seven runs against Corbin crossed home during the second inning. Most of the damage came from Austin Slater's three-run homer followed by Brandon Crawford's three-run double that knocked him from the game. The 32-year-old southpaw is now sporting a brutal 11.20 ERA through four starts this season. Corbin is currently lined up for a rematch with the Giants next week in San Francisco.

Clevinger (knee) will make his third minor-league rehab start with Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Clevinger has looked good in his pair of rehab outings thus far, striking out 10 and allowing one run over five innings. Per Sanders, the organization wants him to build up to throwing five frames in a game before returning to the big-league rotation. Assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks, Clevinger is likely to make his season debut for the Padres in early May.

Walker (shoulder) threw a successful bullpen session Friday, and the Mets will see how he feels Saturday before determining the next step in his rehab program, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Walker threw about 45 pitches during a start at the Mets' extending spring training facility Wednesday, and it's good to see him quickly back on the mound for a bullpen session. It remains to be seen whether the 29-year-old is sent to the minors for a longer rehab start, but he's nearing his return from the injured list regardless.

Senzatela won't start Friday at Detroit after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

The game will be made up via a doubleheader Saturday, so Senzatela's start should be pushed back only one day. The 27-year-old has a 2.16 ERA, 2.04 WHIP and 2:1 K:BB over 8.1 innings through his first two starts of the season.

DeSclafani was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with right ankle inflammation, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The 32-year-old gave up five runs during Thursday's loss to the Mets and has had decreased velocity early in the season, and he's now scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday. DeSclafani dealt with a similar issue last season, though he didn't miss much time after receiving a cortisone injection. It's unclear exactly how long the right-hander will be sidelined this time around.

Strasburg (neck) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session Friday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Strasburg hasn't yet resumed facing hitters and has been limited to mound work recently. The Nationals haven't yet indicated when the right-hander will be able to return to game action, but he'll presumably require several weeks to build up once he's cleared to face hitters. A better recovery timetable will likely come into focus once he's able to ramp up his throwing program.

Cobb (groin) will begin playing catch Friday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Cobb landed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to a Grade 1 groin strain, but he's downplayed the severity of the issue. He's optimistic that he won't require a lengthy stay on the IL, and it's encouraging that he's already resumed playing catch. It's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return when first eligible April 30, but he's unlikely to be sidelined very long.

Meyer tossed 5.2 scoreless innings against Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out seven.

The Marlins' top pitching prospect left his prior start with a minor calf issue, but it didn't end up costing him a turn in the Jacksonville rotation. Meyer has been brilliant through his first three starts this season, posting a 1.23 ERA, 0.55 WHIP and 20:3 K:BB in 14.2 innings, and the biggest obstacle standing in the way of his big-league debut later this season might be the fact that the 23-year-old isn't yet on the 40-man roster.
