Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Mets' Sean Manaea: Making rehab start Tuesday
Manaea (oblique/elbow) will resume a rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton on Tuesday, Michael Mayer of MetsmerizedOnline.com reports.
Manaea was given a cortisone shot one week ago after being diagnosed with a loose body in his pitching elbow and has been cleared to return to game action. It could be the final rehab start he makes before rejoining the Mets' rotation next week. Manaea initially went on the injured list prior to Opening Day due to an oblique strain.

Cade Horton SP | CHC
Cubs' Cade Horton: Doesn't have specific innings limit
Cubs general manager Carter Hawkins said Tuesday that Horton will have his workload monitored in the second half but does not have a specific innings limit this season, 670 The Score reports.
Horton has thrown 74 innings this season between the majors and minors, which is already 39.2 more than he threw all of last season and only 14.1 innings off his professional high. Expect the Cubs to take steps to manage the rookie right-hander's workload after the All-Star break, but it does not sound like Horton will be completely shut down at any point.

Didier Fuentes SP | ATL
Braves' Didier Fuentes: Next start coming Wednesday
Fuentes' next start has been pushed back to Wednesday's series finale with the Angels, with Grant Holmes moving up a day to start Tuesday's contest, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Though Fuentes will still face the same opponent as a result of the late change in Atlanta's pitching schedule, he no longer lines up for a two-start week, as Holmes is now on track to take the hill for Sunday's series finale with the Orioles. Atlanta has its next off day coming Monday, so the club would have the option of pushing Fuentes to the back of its pitching schedule during the final week before the All-Star break. Fuentes is one of Atlanta's top pitching prospects, but he's had a rough go in his first two big-league starts, giving up 10 earned runs on 14 hits and one walk while striking out four across 8.1 innings in losses to the Marlins and Mets.

Grant Holmes SP | ATL
Braves' Grant Holmes: Moved up to start Tuesday
Holmes has been moved up a day to start Tuesday against the Angels, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Holmes is swapping spots in the pitching schedule with Didier Fuentes, who will now take the ball Wednesday. As a result of the change, Holmes is now set up for a two-start week, as he'll be in line to take the hill Sunday against the Orioles in Atlanta.

Logan Webb SP | SF
Giants' Logan Webb: Saddled with sixth loss
Webb (7-6) allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven over 6.1 innings to take the loss Monday versus the Diamondbacks.
Webb rattled off his seventh quality start in a row, but he didn't get enough run support to avoid his first loss since May 27. The right-hander made six starts in June, covering 40.1 innings while allowing just 10 runs with a 43:7 K:BB. Overall, he's at a 2.61 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 127:24 K:BB through 113.2 innings across 18 starts this season. Webb is projected to make his next appearance on the road versus the Athletics this weekend.

Andrew Heaney RP | LAD
Pirates' Andrew Heaney: Fires 6.2 scoreless frames in win
Heaney (4-7) picked up the win in Monday's contest versus St. Louis, allowing three hits and one walk over 6.2 scoreless innings. He struck out seven.
The veteran southpaw snapped a streak of two straight outings conceding seven runs and picked up his first win since May 21 against Cincinnati. Heaney did not allow an extra-base hit to the Cardinals lineup, as he notched only his second outing with seven or more Ks across his last 12 starts. Through 93 total innings, Heaney sports a 4.16 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 71:31 K:BB while yielding 14 homers. The 34-year-old currently lines up to make his next start at Seattle this weekend.

Erick Fedde RP | MIL
Cardinals' Erick Fedde: Clobbered again in loss
Fedde (3-8) took the loss Monday at Pittsburgh, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and three walks over five innings with no strikeouts.
Fedde conceded a leadoff homer to Spencer Horwitz in the first, and it was all downhill from there. The Pirates lineup peppered the St. Louis right-hander for 10 hits, matching Fedde's season-worst mark achieved when he also allowed seven runs against Milwaukee on April 27. With this disaster, the 32-year-old coughed up seven earned runs for the second consecutive start, as he failed to tally a K for the first time this season. Fedde is slated to carry a 4.56 ERA through 92.2 total innings into a difficult road matchup against the Cubs this weekend.

Chase Burns SP | CIN
Reds' Chase Burns: Records just one out
Burns (0-1) took the loss after throwing just 0.1 innings, allowing seven runs (five earned) on five hits and two walks, during Monday's 13-6 loss to the Red Sox.
Burns had a tough go of things during his second career start. In a bit of a reversal from his first outing, in which he struck out the first five batters he faced, the rookie right-hander got tagged for seven runs in the first inning, and he lasted just 33 pitches and one out before his evening came to a close. With Hunter Greene (groin/back) still on the shelf, the 22-year-old is likely to stick and make at least one more start, but he will need to have a short memory with the NL East-leading Phillies looming next.

Matt Waldron SP | SD
Padres' Matt Waldron: Can't find zone in loss
Waldron (0-1) suffered the loss in Monday's contest at Philadelphia, conceding four runs on six hits and six walks over 4.2 innings with three strikeouts.
Waldron's season debut was absolutely disastrous, as the knuckleballer issued a career-worst six free passes (his previous worst was four). Despite the avalanche of walks, the San Diego right-hander managed to limit the Phillies lineup to just one extra-base hit -- a Nick Castellanos solo homer in the fifth -- across his 104 pitches. Waldron hadn't been particularly sharp before his callup, pitching to a 5.04 ERA across 30.1 frames in two minor-league stops, but he could stay with the big-league team, as San Diego starting pitchers Ryan Bergert (forearm), Yu Darvish (elbow), Michael King (shoulder), and Joe Musgrove (elbow) are all on the injured list. If Waldron continues to stick in the rotation, his next turn is scheduled to come against the Rangers at home this weekend.

Zack Wheeler SP | PHI
Phillies' Zack Wheeler: Cruises to eighth win
Wheeler (8-3) earned the win in Monday's game against San Diego, allowing six hits and no walks over eight scoreless innings. He struck out 10.
The veteran right-hander notched his third double-digit K performance of the season -- his first since April 18 vs. Miami -- as he generated an impressive 19 whiffs out of his 107 total pitches. Wheeler scattered five singles and yielded just one extra-base hit -- a Xander Bogaerts double in second. With this effort, Wheeler wrapped a masterful month, pitching to a 0.58 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 42:7 K:BB in 31 June innings. The 35-year-old currently lines up to make his first July start against the Reds at home this weekend.
