Feltner (2-8) gave up four earned runs on four hits and four walks while striking out three over 2.2 innings to take the loss in a 12-6 defeat against the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Feltner struggled with his control and issued four free passes in the third inning. The walks ran up his pitch count and led to a four-run inning before he was given the early hook. Feltner threw only 37 of his 70 pitches for strikes and his ERA rose to 6.12 with the poor outing. Feltner has issued 28 walks in 75 innings pitched this season. He is tentatively expected to make his next start on the road against the Cubs.

Gallen (12-2) gave up three earned runs on four hits and no walks while striking out 11 over six innings to earn the win in a 12-6 victory over the Rockies on Sunday.

Gallen continued his strong stretch of play with a quality start that earned him win number 12 on the season. Gallen ultimately gave up three earned runs but not before setting a Diamondbacks record for consecutive scoreless innings pitched with 44.1. The previous record was held by Brandon Webb with 42.1 consecutive scoreless innings pitched. Gallen has an superb WHIP of 0.91 in 158.2 innings of work this season. He is tentatively expected to make his next start against the Padres.

The Marlins plan to reinstate Garrett (oblique) from the 15-day injured list to have him start the second game of Monday's doubleheader with the Rangers.

The 25-year-old southpaw initially appeared to be at risk of missing the remainder of the season when he was placed on the IL on Aug. 20 with a right oblique strain, but he ended up making swifter progress in his recovery than expected and will be back with the Marlins with more than three weeks to spare. Garrett was sharp during his lone rehab start last week with Triple-A Jacksonville, covering 3.1 innings while striking out three and allowing one earned run on one hit and no walks. He tossed only 46 pitches in that outing, so the Marlins will presumably look to keep him in the 60-to-75 range as he steps back into the rotation Monday. After the doubleheader, it's unclear if the Marlins intend to keep Garrett around with the big club as part of a six-man rotation or as a reliever. Miami could also option him back to Triple-A following the outing.

Miley didn't factor into the decision during Sunday's 4-2 loss to San Francisco, allowing one run on four hits and one walk with five strikeouts in five innings.

Miley was able to avoid trouble aside from in the fourth inning, when he allowed his lone run following a leadoff double. The 35-year-old fired 48 of 75 pitches for strikes with eight of the swinging variety and has allowed three earned runs in nine innings across two starts since missing nearly three months with a shoulder injury. Miley carries a 2.89 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into his next start, slated to come next weekend against Colorado.

Nola yielded two hits over two scoreless innings against Washington on Sunday. He struck out two and did not factor in the decision.

Nola threw 44 pitches before the game went into a lengthy rain delay that ended his outing. The 29-year-old righty lowered his ERA to 3.31 with a stellar 202:24 K:BB through 179.1 frames. He's given up fewer than two runs in six of his last eight starts but was tagged with 13 runs in the other two. Nola is projected to start in Atlanta next weekend.

Musgrove (9-7) took the loss during Sunday's 11-2 defeat at the hands of the Dodgers, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk with five strikeouts in 5.1 innings.

Musgrove cruised through four scoreless frames but encountered trouble thereafter, surrendering a pair of solo homers in the fifth inning and permitting four baserunners and two runs in the sixth before departing. The 29-year-old fired 57 of 77 pitches for strikes, with a healthy 11 of the swinging variety, but has struggled through two September starts, allowing nine runs and 18 baserunners across 9.2 innings. Musgrove carries a 3.28 ERA and 1.09 WHIP into his next start, scheduled to come next weekend in Arizona.

Heaney (3-2) earned the win during Sunday's 11-2 victory over San Diego, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks with six strikeouts in five innings.

Heaney fell behind early, surrendering a Jake Cronenworth solo home run in the second inning and an unearned run following an error in the third, but Los Angeles rallied with 11 unanswered runs to put him in line for the victory. The 31-year-old held the opposition under two earned runs for the first time in six turns, though he matched a season high by issuing three free passes. Heaney carries a 2.84 ERA and 1.07 WHIP into his next start, projected to come next weekend in San Francisco.

Sanchez was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Sanchez pitched out of the bullpen over his last three appearances, and he gave up four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out two in three innings during Sunday's win over the Nationals. The southpaw will head back to the minors since Zach Eflin (kneecap) is expected to return to action Tuesday.

Odorizzi registered a no-decision during Sunday's 8-7 loss to Seattle, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

Making his return from an arm injury, Odorizzi served up a leadoff Julio Rodriguez long ball but kept Seattle's offense under control otherwise until he was chased in the fourth inning following four baserunners and three runs. The poor outing was the 32-year-old's second with Atlanta, though he's held the opposition to no more than two runs in his other four turns. He's pitched to a 4.96 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 29 innings with Atlanta and is scheduled to take the mound again next weekend against Philadelphia.

Luzardo (3-7) took the loss Sunday against the Mets, allowing five runs on six hits, three walks and two hit batsmen while striking out three in 3.1 innings.

Luzardo struggled from start to finish and allowed at least two baserunners in each of the four innings in which he appeared. Eleven of the 21 batters he faced reached safely, and the leadoff man reached in three of the four frames. He entered Sunday having not plunked a single batter in any of his 13 outings but hit two of the first 12 hitters to come to the plate. His next start will likely be next weekend in Washington.
