Odorizzi registered a no-decision during Sunday's 8-7 loss to Seattle, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

Making his return from an arm injury, Odorizzi served up a leadoff Julio Rodriguez long ball but kept Seattle's offense under control otherwise until he was chased in the fourth inning following four baserunners and three runs. The poor outing was the 32-year-old's second with Atlanta, though he's held the opposition to no more than two runs in his other four turns. He's pitched to a 4.96 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 29 innings with Atlanta and is scheduled to take the mound again next weekend against Philadelphia.

Luzardo (3-7) took the loss Sunday against the Mets, allowing five runs on six hits, three walks and two hit batsmen while striking out three in 3.1 innings.

Luzardo struggled from start to finish and allowed at least two baserunners in each of the four innings in which he appeared. Eleven of the 21 batters he faced reached safely, and the leadoff man reached in three of the four frames. He entered Sunday having not plunked a single batter in any of his 13 outings but hit two of the first 12 hitters to come to the plate. His next start will likely be next weekend in Washington.

Walker (11-4) earned the victory Sunday in Miami, striking out 10 in seven innings while allowing a run on five hits.

Walker was masterful Sunday, throwing 61 of his 87 pitches for strikes. Brian Anderson's fourth-inning solo homer was the only blemish in an otherwise excellent outing. There was some concern that Walker might not make the start Sunday as he had been dealing with a blister on his right index finger since his last start. He has a 3.56 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 26:12 K:BB in 30.1 innings over his last six appearances. His next start will likely next weekend against Pittsburgh.

Ortiz will be called up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Ortiz has served as a starter in the minors this year, and he was promoted to Indianapolis at the beginning of September. Over 26 appearances (25 starts) between the Double-A and Triple-A clubs, he's posted a 4.34 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 124.1 innings. The right-hander will likely start one of the two games during the Pirates' doubleheader against the Reds on Tuesday.

Keller struck out six in seven scoreless innings while allowing two hits and three walks in a 4-3 loss Sunday against St. Louis. He did not factor into the decision.

Keller was efficient and effective Sunday, throwing 91 pitches and allowing only one runner to reach second base. He's yet to give up a run in two starts and 13 innings in September. Over his last 11 starts, he has a 2.55 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 49:19 K:BB in 60 innings. He'll look to continue his scoreless streak in his next start, likely next weekend in New York against the Mets.

Quintana allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out four in 5.2 innings in a 4-3 win Sunday in Pittsburgh. He did not factor into the decision.

The lone tally against Quintana came in the third inning when two singles and a fielder's choice led to a run. He then retired 10 of 11 batters before allowing a two-out single in the sixth and being removed. He has allowed two earned runs or fewer in each of his eight starts for St. Louis and has a 2.93 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and only one homer allowed in 40 innings for the team. His next start will likely be next weekend against Cincinnati.

Woodruff (10-4) earned the win against the Reds on Sunday. He allowed two runs on five hits and one walk over six innings with 11 strikeouts.

Woodruff had the Reds guessing all afternoon as he fanned 11 on the day, good for his fourth start of 10 or more strikeouts this season. The quality start was good news for the righty as he had been pulled before reaching six innings in three of his previous five starts heading into Sunday. He tentatively lines up to face the Yankees in his next start.

Dunn (1-3) took the loss Sunday, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks over three innings in a 7-6 loss against the Brewers. He struck out one.

The Brewers had little trouble against Dunn on Sunday, as he surrendered three homers on the day, including back-to-back jacks to Willy Adames and Rowdy Tellez in the second inning. Sunday marked Dunn's second straight outing with more walks than strikeouts, displaying yet again his lack of command. He will take a 6.10 ERA into his next start.

Nelson is slated to start Monday's game against the Dodgers at Chase Field, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Nelson will unsurprisingly receive another turn through the rotation after he dazzled in his MLB debut Sept. 5 against the Padres, striking out seven over seven scoreless frames in a winning effort. The Dodgers present a stiff test for the 24-year-old righty, who will tentatively line up for a two-start week. His second turn comes next weekend at home in a rematch with the Padres.

Carrasco (14-6) earned the win Saturday, allowing one run on four hits over six innings against the Marlins. He struck out six.

Carrasco allowed an RBI double by Garrett Cooper to put the Marlins up 1-0 but was otherwise unscored upon. The righty has been shutting opponents down in his last 10 games with a solid 2.19 ERA over 53.1 innings. The 35-year-old's 3.80 ERA in 2022 is a nice bounce-back from his 6.04 ERA in 53.2 innings during 2021.
