Stone will be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday to pitch against the Red Sox, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The Dodgers haven't determined whether Stone will start or follow an opener Sunday, but he will pitch in some fashion against Boston. The 24-year-old righty has allowed 17 runs across 12 innings in four major-league starts this season, but he's put up a 2.85 ERA and 1.02 WHIP since returning to Triple-A in July.

The Reds reinstated Lively (pectoral) from the 15-day injured list Saturday.

A right pectoral strain forced Lively onto the IL on Aug. 2, but he's now ready to return to the Cincinnati rotation. However, Lively isn't immediately expected to start for the Reds, as he's instead likely to be deployed in bulk relief behind opener Fernando Cruz in Saturday's game in Arizona. Lively didn't perform well during his rehab assignment, surrendering 10 earned runs over just 5.2 innings with Triple-A Louisville while striking out six batters and walking two. He holds a 5.20 ERA and 1.35 WHIP on the season and remains a risky fantasy option.

Bido is expected to serve as a bulk reliever behind opening pitcher Colin Selby in Saturday's game against the Cubs, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

Selby hasn't covered more than two innings in any of his appearances in the majors or minors this season, so he's unlikely to work more than once through the Cubs' batting order before bowing out of the contest. Bido, who hasn't pitched since last Sunday, should be well rested and ready to cover multiple frames out of the bullpen once Selby exits. Over seven outings since the All-Star break spanning 20 innings, Bido has gone 1-3 with a 5.85 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 21:5 K:BB.

The Reds optioned Richardson to Triple-A Louisville on Friday.

As anticipated, Richardson was with the Reds for only a brief period of time after he was called up from Louisville on Wednesday and designated as the club's 27th man for the doubleheader with the Angels. Richardson ended up drawing the start in the second game of the twin bill, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over 4.1 innings while not factoring into the decision in the Reds' 7-3 victory.

Kennedy pitched four innings out of the bullpen in Friday's 10-8 loss to the Diamondbacks, striking out two while giving up five runs (four earned) on five hits and three walks.

Earlier in the week, the Reds had listed Kennedy as their probable starter for Friday's contest, but he ended up shifting to the bullpen after Cincinnati opted to have Hunter Greene take the hill on his normal four days' rest. Because Greene couldn't escape the fourth inning and was pulled from the contest after allowing five earned runs, Kennedy ended up being needed to mop up behind him. The Reds are expected to get Ben Lively (pectoral) back from the 15-day injured list Saturday, so Kennedy looks as though he'll remain in a relief role while Lively presumably settles into the No. 5 spot in the rotation.

Senga (10-7) took the loss Friday, giving up two runs on four hits and three walks over 6.2 innings as the Mets fell 3-1 to the Angels. He struck out 10.

It's the third time this season Senga's fanned double-digit batters as he generated a whopping 21 swinging strikes among his 105 pitches, but he got little help from his offense and saw his three-start win streak snapped. The 30-year-old rookie did extend his quality start streak to four, however, and since the All-Star break he's posted a 2.89 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 51:17 K:BB through 46.2 innings. He's next set to take the mound at home next week against the Rangers.

Greene (2-6) allowed five runs on five hits and five walks while striking out four over 3.2 innings to take the loss Friday versus the Diamondbacks.

Greene was pummeled for five home runs in his return from a two-month absence due to a hip injury last week. The only bright side from Friday's outing was that he was able to keep the ball in the yard, but the five walks were a season high for the hard-throwing righty. He's now at a 5.06 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 108:39 K:BB through 80 innings across 16 starts this season. Greene is tentatively projected for a road start in San Francisco next week.

Harrison's next start for the Giants is expected to come Monday against the Reds, Danny Emerman of KNBR reports.

Harrison would be on turn to pitch Sunday, but with Atlanta featuring a right-handed heavy lineup, the rookie is expected to be pushed back a day. Manager Gabe Kapler hasn't officially named starters for Sunday or Monday yet, but the Giants could opt for a bullpen day for their series finale with Atlanta.

Pfaadt (1-6) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out five over 5.1 innings to earn the win over the Reds on Friday.

Pfaadt gave up one of Nick Martini's two home runs in the game, but it was an otherwise strong outing for the rookie right-hander. Over five starts in August, Pfaadt has yielded 10 runs across 29.2 innings with a 30:9 K:BB. He's now at a 5.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 60:20 K:BB through 67 innings across 13 starts, though he's certainly trending in the right direction. He's projected to make his next appearance on the road against the Dodgers.

Strider (15-4) allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out nine over seven innings to earn the win Friday over the Giants.

Strider's scoreless streak came to an end when he gave up a run in the seventh inning. He hadn't allowed a run over 14 innings across his previous two starts. The 24-year-old right-hander has a 3.46 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 236:47 K:BB through 153.1 innings across 26 starts this season. Strider will look to keep his excellent August going next week in Colorado.
