Peterson came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Yankees, allowing one run on three hits and five walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out eight.

Despite being staked to a 6-0 lead by the end of the fourth inning, Peterson wasn't efficient enough to qualify for his fourth straight win as he needed 103 pitches (62 strikes) to record his 13 outs. The southpaw has walked multiple batters in four straight outings but has mostly been able to limit the damage, and he'll take a 3.67 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 20:13 K:BB through 27 innings into his next start, which is currently scheduled to come on the road early next week against the Nationals. The Mets begin a stretch of 17 straight games without a day off Friday, however, which could require some juggling of the rotation.

Gallen (hamstring) threw 67 pitches in a simulated game Monday and will next have a bullpen session Thursday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

The Diamondbacks were preparing for Gallen to throw Monday, whether in a sim game or live batting practice, and decided on the sim game. He next heads to Chase Field on Thursday for a bullpen session, which will be caught by Gabriel Moreno, who is nursing a sprained left thumb. If all goes well Thursday, then Gallen could return during Arizona's series against Oakland that begins Friday.

Gomber (1-5) took the loss Tuesday against Houston, allowing five runs on eight hits and no walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

All five runs against Gomber came in the first inning, when he allowed four consecutive singles to open the frame as part of a six-hit inning that included a pair of stolen bases. However, the 30-year-old settled in after the nightmare first frame, allowing just two baserunners afterward before a Jake Meyers double prompted Colorado to remove Gomber after 89 pitches. Gomber has endured a rough June, yielding at least three runs in all five starts and completing only six innings once. He owns a 9.39 ERA with 15 strikeouts over 23.0 innings during the month. He's tentatively scheduled for a home start against Milwaukee early next week.

Wilson (5-3) picked up the win Tuesday against the Rangers, allowing three hits with no walks across six scoreless innings. He struck out four.

For the fourth time in his last six appearances, Wilson worked in bulk relief, taking the mound in the third inning after Hoby Milner opened the contest. Still, Wilson was able to complete six innings for the first time since May 6 as part of his best outing as a Brewer. The 26-year-old has been incredibly volatile across his last four appearances, yielding at least five runs twice but giving up no runs in the other pair of games. Overall, Wilson owns a 3.89 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP over 74.0 innings. While it's unclear if he'll follow an opener again, he's on track to pitch in Colorado early next week.

Gore (6-7) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out one over five innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Padres.

Gore struggled against the team that drafted him, as the Padres put up multiple runs in the first and fifth innings. He may have been rattled by the two teams clearing the benches in the first inning after Keibert Ruiz and Jurickson Profar exchanged words -- Gore's next pitch hit Profar on the back foot, and the one after that was crushed by Manny Machado for a two-run homer. The southpaw has lost three of his five starts in June, giving up 18 runs (17 earned) over 26.1 innings. He's now at a 3.81 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 99:28 K:BB through 85 innings across 16 starts on the year. Gore is projected to make his next start at home versus the Mets.

Mazur (1-2) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while failing to record a strikeout over five innings, but he earned the win Tuesday over the Nationals.

Washington did all of its damage in the third inning, which was punctuated by a two-run home run by Jesse Winker. Mazur was able to rebound over two more frames, and the Padres' offense pulled ahead for good in the fifth. The right-hander's first major-league win wasn't pretty, but that's been typical for the 23-year-old as he tries to find his footing with the Padres. He's at a 7.25 ERA, 1.84 WHIP and 11:17 K:BB over 22.1 innings through five starts. He'll likely head back to Triple-A El Paso once Yu Darvish (groin/elbow) is cleared to return, which could happen next week but is far from a guarantee.

Hendricks (1-5) allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over seven innings, taking the loss Tuesday versus the Giants.

Hendricks has faced the Giants in each of his two starts since returning to the rotation. He's limited them to three runs over 12.2 innings with a 12:2 K:BB, but he's gone 1-1 in those outings. It's still a positive sign after his awful start to the campaign landed him a demotion to the bullpen, where he surrendered five runs over 14.1 innings across five appearances. He's now at a 6.87 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 43:17 K:BB over 57.2 innings through 14 appearances (nine starts) this year. Hendricks is tentatively projected to make his next start at home in a tough matchup against the Phillies.

Pfaadt allowed four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Tuesday.

Pfaadt pitched into the seventh inning for the second start in a row, but it resulted in him giving up a three-run home run to Ryan Jeffers that tied the game at 4-4. Arizona got the lead back in its half of the frame, but Pfaadt was already out of the game, leaving the win to reliever Kevin Ginkel. Through five starts in June, Pfaadt has allowed 17 runs over 30 innings with a 23:12 K:BB. He's now at a 4.45 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 86:24 K:BB through 97 innings across 16 starts this season. The right-hander is lined up to make his next start at home in a favorable matchup versus the Athletics.

Miller did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-3 win against the White Sox, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks over two innings. He struck out one.

The Dodgers right-hander labored through just two innings against a feeble White Sox lineup, requiring 60 pitches with only 32 percent being in the zone. Miller has been unsteady since returning from the injured list June 19, generating a 8.64 ERA and 3:4 K:BB across 8.1 innings versus two weak opponents -- Chicago and Colorado. He'll to bounce back in his next start, currently scheduled against the Giants on the road this weekend.

Chirinos allowed one run on three hits and three walks over five innings in a no-decision against Kansas City on Tuesday. He struck out five.

Chirinos looked solid again in his second start this season, punching out five with eight whiffs in a 78-pitch performance. Considering Miami's injury woes in the rotation, the 30-year-old right-hander should remain a starter, as he's posted a 2.70 ERA with 11:3 K:BB over 10 innings so far. Chirinos currently lines up for a difficult opponent in his next outing as he draws the Phillies on the road this weekend.
