Kopech is dealing with a Grade 1 strain to his left hamstring, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

While general manager Rick Hahn doesn't believe the injury will sideline Kopech for an extended time, he's not sure the righty will be ready for activation when eligible June 8. The coveted prospect has excelled as both a reliever and a spot starter in 2021, posting a 1.72 ERA with 45 strikeouts in 31.1 innings.

Houck (elbow) threw off a mound Tuesday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Houck has been dealing with a sore flexor muscle since early May, and Tuesday's throwing session marked the first time that he had thrown off a mound since he suffered the injury. The right-hander only threw fastballs during his bullpen session, but it was encouraging to see him make some progress in his recovery.

Gonzales (forearm) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's start against the Athletics.

Gonzales missed just over a month due to a mild forearm strain and will be on a pitch count during his first appearance Tuesday. The southpaw is expected to pitch between three and four innings. He posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 28.1 innings across five starts earlier this season.

Lynn is scheduled to start Wednesday's game in Cleveland on three days' rest, Brian Sandalow of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Due to doubleheaders Saturday and Monday, the White Sox were forced to add a sixth starter to the mix, but the team apparently won't be turning to a seventh starter Wednesday, when none of the other rotation members are available on their normal four days' rest. Instead, Lynn -- who worked five innings (82 pitches) in one of the doubleheader games Saturday against the Orioles -- will face a quicker turnaround than usual for his 10th start of the season. Given his relatively light workload his last time out, Lynn shouldn't face any major restrictions Wednesday, though the White Sox probably won't ask him to push past the 100-pitch mark.

Wacha secured his second hold in a win over the Yankees on Monday, allowing an earned run on one hit over 1.2 innings. He did not issue a walk or record a strikeout.

The veteran right-hander continued to perform reasonably well in his apparent new role as a multi-inning reliever, with his one hiccup the solo home run he surrendered to Miguel Andujar for the Yankees' only run of the game. All three appearances Wacha has made since returning from a stint on the injured list due to a hamstring strain have come in relief, with the veteran allowing three earned runs on six hits over 6.2 innings in those outings.

Quantrill allowed one run on four hits while striking out five over 3.2 innings against the White Sox on Monday. He did not factor into the decision.

Making his first start of the season in the back end of a doubleheader, Quantrill pitched well. His lone blemish was an RBI single by Nick Madrigal in the third. The 26-year-old has been impressive with a 2.08 ERA and 25:11 K:BB over 30.1 innings, but his typical low-leverage/multi-inning role out of the bullpen doesn't offer much fantasy upside.

Kaprielian allowed four runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts across 3.2 innings in a no-decision versus Seattle on Monday. He also hit a batter.

Kaprielian was able to navigate two baserunners in each of the second and third innings without trouble. The right-hander then faltered in the fourth, with a three-run blast by Donovan Walton and an RBI double from Kyle Lewis on his ledger. Kaprielian was bailed out by Oakland's offense, which rallied to tie the game in the eighth. He's posted a 2.95 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 22:9 K:BB across 21.1 innings. Monday was the worst of his four starts so far -- the 27-year-old lines up for a road start in Colorado this weekend, which could be a tricky assignment.

Rodon allowed five runs on nine hits and a walk over six innings in a win during Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader. He struck out eight and did not factor in the decision.

Rodon got off to an ugly start by coughing up two straight solo homers to begin the game. He then allowed another solo homer to Cesar Hernandez in the third. It was just his second start this season where he gave up more than two runs and he still owns a strong 1.98 ERA through 54.2 innings. Rodon is projected to face Detroit at home this weekend.

McKenzie allowed five runs on four hits and two walks over 5.1 innings in a loss during Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader against the White Sox. He struck out 10 and did not factor in the decision.

McKenzie was cursed by an ugly second inning where he allowed four runs on three hits and two walks. However, he set a new franchise record with eight consecutive strikeouts and he punched out nine of the last 11 batters he faced. The 23-year-old righty has allowed at least five runs in three of his last four starts, raising his season ERA to 6.26. If Cleveland elects to give McKenzie another turn in the rotation, he could face the Orioles on the road this weekend.

Gilbert allowed two runs on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings versus Oakland on Monday. He did not factor in the decision.

Gilbert was in line for the win when he exited the game, but Oakland rallied to tie it up in the eighth inning. The right-hander remains in search of his first major-league win, but he's seen improvement in his two starts against Oakland this year, both of which were no-decisions. He's posted a 5.94 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 16.2 innings since he was called up on May 13. The rookie lines up for a road start versus the Angels this weekend.
