Bundy (0-6) allowed four runs on five hits and two walks over 5.2 innings Monday, striking out five and taking the loss against San Francisco.

Bundy looked solid through three shutout innings but gave up a home run in each of the next three frames, starting with a two-run shot by Evan Longoria in the fourth. It was his third straight start allowing multiple homers and the fourth straight outing giving up at least four runs. The 28-year-old's ERA actually dropped a tick to 6.49 through 51.1 innings. Bundy is lined up to face the Royals at home next week.

Rodriguez (5-4) took the loss Monday. He allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts in 4.2 innings versus Houston.

Rodriguez had a rough second inning, as Houston scored runs on a sacrifice fly and a double play after he allowed the first three batters to reach base. The southpaw also gave up a two-run home run to Jose Atluve in the third and a two-run single to Kyle Tucker in the fifth. Rodriguez will be glad to put May in the rear-view mirror after taking losses in his last four starts. He has a 5.64 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 58:13 K:BB across 52.2 innings this season. The 28-year-old lines up for a road start versus the Yankees this weekend.

Urquidy (4-2) allowed a run on three hits and a walk with nine strikeouts in six innings in a win versus Boston on Monday.

Urquidy missed nearly three weeks with a shoulder injury, but he was good in his return. The right-hander threw 61 of his 87 pitches for strikes, and he kept Boston off the board until Alex Verdugo's RBI double in the sixth inning. Urquidy has a 3.02 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 42:10 K:BB across 50.2 innings this season. He projects to face Toronto this weekend in his next start.

Taillon (1-4) took the loss Monday, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings as the Yankees fell 3-1 to the Rays. He struck out five.

After two scoreless frames, Tampa Bay tagged Taillon for single runs in the next three innings. The right-hander exited after 85 pitches (51 strikes) as he failed to pitch past five innings for the fourth straight start, and he'll carry a 5.10 ERA and 55:15 K:BB through 47.2 innings into his next outing.

Hill (4-2) picked up the win in Monday's 3-1 victory over the Yankees, allowing three hits and two walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out two.

The veteran lefty wasn't in peak form, tossing 37 of 56 pitches for strikes before exiting and falling well short of the 13 punchouts he racked up in his last start, but Hill still got the job done against a reeling New York offense. He'll take a 3.32 ERA and 60:19 K:BB through 59 innings into his next outing.

Berrios didn't factor into the decision Monday in the Twins' 3-2 win over the Orioles in 10 innings after he gave up a run on five hits and no walks in eight frames while striking out six.

Aside from allowing a solo home run to Ryan Mountcastle in the fifth inning, Berrios easily mowed down the Orioles, whom he was facing for his second start in a row. After the dominant showing, Berrios' ERA sits at a career-best 3.36 for the season.

Manager Joe Maddon said Sandoval would join the Angels rotation after Jose Quintana (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Sandoval has previously made three starts for Los Angeles this season, including one last Thursday against Oakland. The young southpaw turned in the best outing of his young career versus the Athletics, tossing five shutout innings while allowing seven baserunners and striking out four. The Angels haven't outlined their full pitching schedule for the upcoming week, but Sandoval will presumably make his next start during the Angels' four-game series versus Seattle over the weekend.

The Angels placed Quintana (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

While Quintana's inflamed left shoulder relegates him to the shelf, manager Joe Maddon said Patrick Sandoval is the most likely candidate to fill the lefty's spot in the six-man rotation, according to Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register. Though Quintana has posted a career-best 13.4 K/9 over his nine starts, his command and control has disappeared in his age-32 campaign. Quintana sits on a 7.22 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 7.0 BB/9 through 33.2 innings.

The Astros reinstated Urquidy (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Monday against the Red Sox, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Reliever Ralph Garza was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land to make room on the active roster for Urquidy, who will be returning to action for the first time since May 12. Urquidy tossed 63 pitches and 3.2 innings in his lone rehab start at Double-A Corpus Christi prior to being activated, so he may have some light restrictions in place as he steps back into the rotation. The 26-year-old is projected to make the second of his two starts this week Saturday on the road against the Blue Jays.

Springs secured his sixth hold in a win over the Phillies on Sunday by getting the final out of the seventh inning.

The quick seven-pitch appearance may have been just what the doctor ordered for Springs, who'd pitched to a 6.35 ERA over the 5.2 innings covering his previous four appearances. The 28-year-old had proven reliable prior to that rough patch, however, and even during that sample, his 10:2 K:BB confirms he's continued to miss bats at an impressive clip.
