Montas took the no-decision in Saturday's 6-5 loss to San Francisco, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Montas rebounded nicely from last start's eight runs allowed, surrendering both of his runs on a LaMonte Wade two-run home run. The five total baserunners were the second fewest in any of Montas' 16 starts as he looks to regain his excellent 2019 form.

Montgomery (3-2) allowed three earned runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out five across six innings, taking the loss against the Red Sox on Saturday.

Montgomery posted a quality start but got outdueled by opposing pitcher Nathan Eovaldi in the loss. After retiring the side in the first inning, Montgomery allowed the first three batters to reach base safely in the second inning, leading to a pair of runs scored. He allowed just one extra-base hit, a third-inning double by Xander Bogaerts. The 28-year-old has a 4.06 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP in 82 innings this season. Despite pitching well as of late, he hasn't won in any of his last four starts.

Eovaldi (8-4) allowed one earned run on seven hits while striking out six across 7.2 innings, earning the win over the Yankees on Saturday.

Eovaldi shut out the Yankees through 7.2 innings before surrendering a solo home run to DJ LeMahieu. He earned the victory in what ended up being his longest start of the season. It was a nice comeback after being pulled in his last outing against the Royals with just four innings pitched. The 31-year-old has a 3.67 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and a 8.3 K/9 in 90.2 innings. Although he isn't a high-strikeout pitcher, Eovaldi is tied for seventh in the American league in total innings pitched, proving to be reliable and consistent throughout the season.

McCullers (5-1) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven over 5.1 innings in Saturday's win over Detroit.

McCullers had a bit of trouble in the first inning, giving up a run on a walk and a pair of hits, but settled in after that and pitched into the sixth to earn his second straight win. The 27-year-old boasts a stellar 2.94 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with a 73:35 KK:B across 67.1 innings. His next start lines up against Cleveland on Friday.

Gilbert's Saturday start against the White Sox was suspended in the bottom of the third inning due to rain and will resume Sunday. He struck out three and allowed one hit in two scoreless innings.

Gilbert threw 28 pitches (19 strikes), which likely means he'll be replaced when the game resumes Sunday. If he does indeed get pulled, he could potentially return to the mound in less than the normal four days of rest if the Mariners want to explore that option.

Bubic (2-3) was tagged with the loss in relief Saturday against Texas after allowing three runs on three hits and two walks across two-thirds of an inning. He didn't strike out anyone.

Bubic entered the game in the second inning after Kyle Zimmer pitched a scoreless opening frame, but he was unable to complete the inning and was lifted after tossing 40 pitches (21 strikes) and putting Kansas City down by three runs. Bubic's last two outings have come off the bullpen and it remains to be seen whether he'll return to the rotation any time soon. He's been struggling this month, though, as he owns a disastrous 9.40 ERA across six June appearances (18.2 innings).

Gibson (6-0) earned the win Saturday against the Royals after tossing seven scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk while fanning 10.

Gibson remains undefeated but delivered his best outing of the season thus far, striking out a season-high mark of 10 while posting his fourth scoreless outing of the campaign. In fact, the veteran hurler has given two or fewer runs in each of his last eight appearances, posting a 1.68 ERA in that span. He's expected to make his next start on the road against the Mariners next week.

Lynn's Saturday start against the Mariners was suspended in the the bottom of the third inning because of rain and will resume Sunday. He has fanned four while allowing no hits and two walks across three scoreless frames.

Lynn will almost certainly be replaced when the game resumes Sunday, as the right-hander threw 47 pitches (27 strikes) Saturday. Lynn will try again for his eighth win when he takes the ball Thursday against Minnesota.

Ryu (7-4) earned the win Saturday against Baltimore after allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks while fanning three across 6.2 innings.

Ryu tossed 59 of his 91 pitches for strikes and took a shutout into the seventh inning, but with the Jays holding a huge 12-0 lead the left-hander pitched to contact and wound up seeing his quality start streak end at three. The veteran hurler owns a 4.92 ERA across five starts this month, and his next start is scheduled for next week at home against the Mariners.

Cobb (5-3) gave up six runs on six hits and one walk over four innings in Saturday's loss to Tampa Bay. He had three strikeouts.

Manuel Margot lined a home run to center field off Cobb in the second inning to stake the Rays to a 2-0 lead. Tampa Bay knocked the hurler from the game with four more runs the rest of the way. After a nice string of starts in May, Cobb was hammered for five-plus runs in three of his last four outings. He owns a 5.09 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with a 63:17 K:BB over 53 innings in 2021.
