Medina is set to work as a bulk reliever Friday versus the Brewers, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Sam Moll will take the mound first as an opener to kick off the Athletics' three-game weekend series in Milwaukee. Medina enters Friday's game with a 0-5 record to go with an 8.19 ERA through 29.2 innings (five starts, one relief appearance) this season.

McCullers (forearm) will get an MRI on Friday after reporting discomfort, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

McCullers had been on target for a mid-July return before being shut down from throwing off a mound in late May. His new timetable remains unclear, but the Astros are hoping to have a better idea once the imaging results come in early next week. The 29-year-old righty has been shelved all season with a right forearm stain.

Bradish did not factor into the decision Thursday, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk over five innings in a 6-3 victory over Milwaukee. He struck out 10.

It looked like it would be a rough outing for Bradish after he allowed three runs on four hits during the opening frame. However, he responded by retiring 12 consecutive batters while recording a season-high 10 strikeouts as the Orioles rallied for the comeback win. Bradish has pitched to a solid 3.24 ERA over his last six outings. Overall, he's 2-2 with a 4.25 ERA, 2.36 WHIP and 51:16 K:BB through 11 starts (53 innings) this season.

Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said Thursday that Manoah will be away from the club for at least two turns through the rotation, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.

In all likelihood, it's going to be many more turns than that. Manoah is headed to the Blue Jays' Florida Complex League affiliate Thursday as he begins the process of trying to get back on track. The club will be working with the right-hander on his delivery and other things before he eventually returns to game action.

Irvin looks to be the "most likely option" to start for the Orioles on Saturday versus the Royals, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Manager Brandon Hyde has professed a desire to use a traditional starter rather than employ a bullpen game, and Irvin seems to line up best given the recent usage of all potential options. The left-hander has struggled mightily in the majors this season (10.38 ERA) but holds a 3.21 ERA with just four walks in seven starts with Triple-A Norfolk.

Cortes was placed on the 15-day injured list Thursday, retroactive to June 5, with a left rotator cuff strain.

Cortes was diagnosed with the injury earlier this week and is going to be shut down from throwing for at least the next 13 days or so. The best-case scenario probably puts him back in the Yankees' rotation just before the All-Star break. Randy Vasquez will be up to make a spot start in the second half of Thursday's doubleheader against the White Sox, but New York won't need a dedicated fifth starter again until closer to the end of June.

Bibee (2-1) earned the win Wednesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks over five innings against the Red Sox. He struck out two.

Bibee allowed one or fewer earned run for the fourth time this season and picked up his second win. The right-hander made his big-league debut at the end of April and has delivered a strong first impression, posting a 3.05 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 42:12 K:BB across eight appearances (44.1 innings). The Guardians' rotation recently got Aaron Civale and Triston McKenzie back, but Bibee has done enough to stick around long term, especially with Cal Quantrill (shoulder) moving to the injured list. Bibee's next start is scheduled for a three-game set in San Diego next week.

Crawford (1-3) took the loss Wednesday, allowing three runs on five hits over three innings against the Guardians. He struck out three and didn't issue a walk.

Crawford, who had been operating as a reliever since late April, got the spot start with Chris Sale (shoulder) moving to the injured list. As expected, the right-hander was limited to just 58 pitches (41 strikes), and he figures to stick in the rotation moving forward, but his workload will presumably remain restricted for another start or two while he gets stretched back out. Crawford's next outing is projected for a three-game homestand versus the Rockies.

Bassitt (7-4) earned the win Wednesday, allowing two runs on four hits over eight innings against the Astros. He struck out five and didn't issue a walk.

Bassitt completed a season-high eight innings and didn't issue a walk for a second straight game, posting 14 strikeouts during the stretch. Aside from two horrible outings, the right-hander has been sharp during his first season with the Blue Jays, recording a 1.69 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 65:24 K:BB across his other 11 starts (74.2 innings). Even when you include his bad nights, his overall numbers (3.29 ERA and 1.01 WHIP) are still very respectable. Bassitt will look to stay sharp during his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for the opener of a three-game set in Baltimore.

Glasnow will make his next start for the Rays on Friday against the Rangers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Glasnow had been on turn to pitch Thursday's series finale versus the Twins at Tropicana Field, but the Rays have instead elected to bring up Yonny Chirinos from Triple-A Durham to start that game. The Rays haven't suggested that Glasnow is dealing with an injury, so he's seemingly just being pushed back an extra day for rest purposes. The right-hander has posted a 3.72 ERA and 14:4 K:BB through 9.2 innings in his two starts since returning from the injured list in late May.
