Jansen (hamstring) threw a successful live batting practice session Saturday and believes he'll be available out of the bullpen Sunday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Jansen was pulled from his outing Wednesday against the Astros with tightness in his right hamstring, but he's remained confident about avoiding the injured list. That optimism appears justified, though the Red Sox themselves haven't officially announced when he'll be available.

Swanson exited Saturday's game against Cleveland with right mid-back discomfort.

Swanson faced just two batters before suffering the injury, recording one out and allowing one hit. He's been a key part of the bridge to Jordan Romano this season, recording a 3.10 ERA in 58 innings, so the Blue Jays won't want to be without him for an extended period.

Anderson was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Anderson allowed four runs on nine hits in eight innings of work in his latest stay in the big leagues, walking seven batters while striking out just four. Jonathan Hernandez was called up to take Anderson's place in the bullpen.

Hernandez was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.

Hernandez has been ineffective in 21.2 major-league innings this season, struggling to a 6.65 ERA, a mark which more than doubles the 3.23 career ERA he owned prior to that point. His 1.35 ERA at the Triple-A level is far more encouraging, but it comes with a 16.5 percent walk rate. Grant Anderson was optioned in a corresponding move.

Balazovic was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday.

Balazovic spent just two days on the active roster in his latest stint in the majors and did not get into a game. He'll make way for Joe Ryan, who returns from a groin injury in a corresponding move.

The Diamondbacks optioned Martinez to Triple-A Reno on Saturday.

With Zach Davies (back) returning from the injured list, Martinez will end up being the roster casualty. The 22-year-old gave up six runs over 4.2 innings and picked up his first career save after he was recalled Aug. 17.

Bautista was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a UCL injury, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Bautista left his outing Friday against the Rockies with right arm discomfort, and it looks like the injury is potentially a serious one. The Orioles haven't specified an exact diagnosis or timeline for Bautista, but Tommy John surgery would seem to be a possibility given that he's dealing with UCL troubles. Even a lesser injury would still be a huge blow to the Orioles, as Bautista has been the best reliever in baseball this season, riding a 46.4 percent strikeout rate to a 1.48 ERA and 33 saves. Yennier Cano is likely to step into the ninth inning in his absence.

Burdi (abdomen) is dealing with ulnar nerve irritation and will be shut down from his rehab assignment and re-evaluated in a few days, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Burdi initially landed on the injured list in May after undergoing an appendectomy. He was cleared to begin a rehab assignment Aug. 8 and gave up two runs across 3.1 innings over four appearances between the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and Triple-A Iowa, but he hadn't pitched in a week before the Cubs provided an explanation on the matter. A better timeline for his return should emerge once he's evaluated during the week.

The Cubs placed Fulmer on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a right forearm strain, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Fulmer has surrendered six runs in 5.2 innings across his last seven appearances, and he'll now be sidelined for at least two weeks in order to address a forearm issue. Jordan Wicks was called up from Triple-A Iowa in a corresponding move and will start for the Cubs on Saturday.

Wicks will start Saturday's game against the Pirates, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Wicks was recalled from Triple-A Iowa on Saturday and was initially expected to make his MLB debut in Sunday's series finale. Instead, the 23-year-old southpaw will swap rotation spots with Javier Assad and make his debut a day early. Wicks logged a 3.82 ERA and 1.18 WHIP through 33 innings across seven Triple-A starts.
