Weaver (1-2) took the loss against the Orioles on Friday, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out one batter in two-thirds of an inning.

Weaver was activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Friday's game. He was brought in for the eighth inning with the game tied at 3-3, but things quickly got out of hand as he gave up a solo home run to Ramon Urias before being tagged for another run later in the frame. It was a less-than-ideal return for Weaver, given that he was deployed in a high-leverage situation and is expected to split closing duties with Devin Williams.

Chapman struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 7-5 win over the Giants.

Chapman has been perfect over his last five outings, striking out eight over 4.2 innings while earning three saves and a hold in that span. He's given up just one unearned run with a 14:1 K:BB across nine innings in June. For the season, the closer is 14-for-15 in save chances with a 1.41 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 45:9 K:BB across 32 innings. He's added two holds and a 3-2 record.

Birdsong allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Red Sox on Friday.

Birdsong ran into trouble in the third inning and also was scored on in the fourth and fifth frames. The Giants tied the game in the bottom of the fifth to spare him from staying on the hook for the loss, but it was another mediocre outing for Birdsong. The right-hander hadn't pitched since June 12 -- no reason was provided for the extended gap between starts, though the Giants' rotation has been in flux between the trade that sent Kyle Harrison to Boston and Justin Verlander's recent return from a pectoral injury. Birdsong has failed to complete five innings in three of his last five outings and now has a 3.25 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 55:20 K:BB through 52.2 innings over 17 appearances (six starts) this season. He's tentatively projected to make his next start at home in a favorable matchup versus the Marlins.

Scott allowed a run on one hit over one inning to earn the save in Friday's 6-5 win over the Nationals.

Scott had to face the top of the Nationals' order and gave up a solo home run to CJ Abrams, but he was able to preserve the lead after that. This was the first earned run Scott had given up since June 2 versus the Mets, and it was the first time he's allowed a baserunner since June 9 in San Diego. The left-handed reliever is up to 15 saves this year while adding seven holds and five blown saves. He's maintained a 3.79 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 40:4 K:BB over 35.2 innings as the head of the Dodgers' closing committee.

Borucki was removed from Friday's game against the Rangers with an apparent injury, Danny Demilio of PittsburghBaseballNow.com reports.

Borucki gave up one run and recorded just one out before departing the game with a trainer. It's not immediately clear what is bothering him, but the Pirates should offer some more details once they take a closer look at him.

Henry (elbow) is scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Henry was placed on Triple-A Reno's 7-day injured list June 12 due to left elbow discomfort, and after seeking multiple opinions, Tommy John surgery was elected as the best path moving forward for the 27-year-old southpaw. Henry will miss the rest of the 2025 season, and given the procedure, he'll likely miss most -- if not all -- of 2026. Henry appeared in two major-league games for the Diamondbacks this season but spent most of the year in Triple-A, where he posted a 2-6 record in 11 starts with an 8.12 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 51:21 K:BB across 54.1 innings.

Suarez was issued a three-game suspension from Major League Baseball on Friday, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com reports.

Suarez was ejected from Thursday's game against the Dodgers after hitting Shohei Ohtani with a pitch, and the 34-year-old closer will now receive a three-game ban on top of it. Suarez is appealing the suspension, so he will remain on the Padres' active roster until a verdict is reached.

Santana received a four-game suspension and fine from the league Friday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

The incident occurred during the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Tigers for "aggressive conduct toward a fan near the bullpen." The suspension was set to start Friday, but Santana has appealed the suspension and will be available out of the bullpen until the process is complete. He has a 1.72 ERA, a 0.83 WHIP, five holds and a 25:5 K:BB across 31.1 innings this season.

Stephenson is still feeling some discomfort in his right biceps but is hopeful to start throwing during the Angels' nine-game homestand that begins Friday, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Stephenson is working his way back from biceps inflammation but is on track to begin throwing before the end of June. The veteran reliever is without an official timeline to return from the 15-day injured list, but he'll most likely remain on the shelf through the All-Star break.

The Dodgers optioned Little to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.

After throwing two innings in his MLB debut Thursday, Little will return to Triple-A so the Dodgers can add a fresh arm to the bullpen in Will Klein. The 27-year-old owns a 2.20 ERA and a 33:14 K:BB over 32.2 innings with Oklahoma City.
