Suter will start Friday's game against the Rockies, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Taylor Jungmann (hip) was originally scheduled to start Friday's tilt, but after ruling Jungmann out due to a hip injury incurred in his previous start, the Brewers decided to give Suter another shot in a starting role. Suter was shelled in his first career start, giving up four runs on seven hits in a mere 4.1 innings against Seattle in mid-August, but he hasn't allowed a single run in 12.1 innings out of the bullpen since then. The left-hander doesn't overwhelm anyone with strikeouts, but his command is solid (2.7 BB/9) and he keeps the ball in the park (0.4 HR/9 with Triple-A Colorado Springs), which could bode well as he preps for a start in hitter-friendly Coors Field.

De La Rosa (elbow) will undergo stem-cell treatment on his right elbow in an effort to avoid another surgery, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

If the stem-cell treatment goes well, it very well might allow De La Rosa to pitch earlier in 2017, which is definitely more than the surgical route can boast. Naturally, the right-hander could end up having surgery if the treatment is unsuccessful, but things should become clearer once he gets the treatment and begins rehab.

De La Rosa (elbow) is scheduled to meet with Dr. James Andrews on Monday , Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Dr. Andrews, of course, is known for performing Tommy John surgeries. He actually performed Tommy John on De La Rosa back in 2011. If De La Rosa gets the surgery again, he will likely be out for the whole 2017 season.

Iglesias struck out the side en route to his fourth save of the season Sunday versus the Brewers.

Iglesias had not worked in a save situation in nearly two weeks, but he was sharp Sunday, throwing 10 of 15 pitches for strikes to finish off the game. Iglesias seems to have found a home in the bullpen after being considered for starting duty at the beginning of the season, and he could open 2017 as the Reds' top option at closer.

Gsellman (3-2) tossed seven scoreless innings Sunday, scattering three hits and two walks while striking out eight in a 17-0 rout of the Phillies.

He now has a 2.17 ERA and 28:10 K:BB in 29 innings across five September starts, playing a huge part in keeping the Mets in the thick of the wild-card hunt despite all the injuries to their rotation. He'll take on the Phillies once more Friday, this time on the road, to close out his regular season.

Chapman pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Cardinals. He walked one and struck out one.

Chapman nailed down his 36th save with ease, recovering from a two-out walk with a strikeout of Jose Martinez to end the game. The 28-year-old hasn't allowed an earned run this month and has now converted nine consecutive save opportunities.

Blach lasted just three innings in his first career start, allowing two runs on four hits in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Padres. He walked three and struck out three.

Blach needed 76 pitches to get through the first three innings, leading Bruce Bochy to dip into his bullpen early rather than push the rookie. Ranked the organization's No. 23 prospect by MLB Pipeline, Blach went 45-31 with a 3.84 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 3.29 K/BB across four minor league seasons. With San Francisco still battling for a wild-card berth, the date of his next start is uncertain.

Ottavino blew the save in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers, allowing a game-tying homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.

Tasked with protecting a 3-2 lead, Ottavino struck out the first two batters he faced. He then fell behind 2-0 to Corey Seager, who swatted his next pitch over the right field wall for a game-tying homer, chasing Ottavino from the game. The blown save was the fifth of the year for Ottavino, who had not allowed an earned run in six September appearances prior to Sunday. He's still entrenched as Colorado's closer with a 2.55 ERA and 0.97 WHIP.

Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale confirmed Saturday that De La Rosa (elbow) wouldn't return this season, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

De La Rosa had been sidelined for most of the summer with elbow problems before returning from the DL earlier this month, but he experienced issues with his arm after making just two starts. Hale announced shortly thereafter that De La Rosa would be shut down for the season, before reversing course and acknowledging it was possible the right-hander might pitch again. However, after De La Rosa completed a flat-ground throwing session Saturday, Hale noted that the hurler was progressing positively, but wouldn't be ready to pitch in a game before the season ended. De La Rosa should be healthy again for the start of spring training, at which point he'll probably have to compete for a spot in the rotation.

Reyes (4-1) gave up three earned runs on six hits and three walks over five innings in Saturday's 10-4 walloping of the Cubs. He struck out six.

The 22-year-old continued his string of impressive performances, although the three earned runs he gave up Saturday were the most he'd yielded in a start to date. Staked to a 4-0 lead entering the home half of the first, Reyes allowed a two-run triple to Ben Zobrist that cut his advantage in half. Dexter Fowler blasted a run-scoring double in the second for the third run against Reyes, but he settled in after that point to make it through five full frames. The rookie fired a career-high 115 pitches overall in the process of winning his third consecutive decision. Reyes will look to finish off the season on a winning note against the Reds next Thursday.
