Rodney pitched a scoreless ninth inning and struck out one batter en route to collecting a save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Dodgers.

After being blown up for three runs while recording one out just one day earlier in a non-save situation, Rodney looked right at home in the ninth inning Sunday, working around a one-out walk to record his fourth save of the season without much stress. Rodney's 10.13 ERA and 6:5 K:BB over 5.1 innings this season certainly don't look good, but since he's yet to blow a save chance this season, it looks like he still has some leeway as the team's closer.

Jansen tossed 1.1 perfect innings while striking out three en route to his third save of the season Saturday.

The dominant closer was brought into the game with two outs in the eighth inning and just a one-run cushion on the scoreboard. He took care of Brandon Drury and then the Dodgers tacked on three runs in the bottom of the inning, giving him plenty of room to work with to finish the job in the ninth. The 29-year-old was used in multi-inning save situations by manager Dave Roberts last postseason, so it shouldn't be surprising when he is asked to do so in crucial situations like Saturdays.

Manager Bryan Price indicated Sunday that Adleman, who was recalled from Triple-A Louisville, would work out of the bullpen, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The Reds have a void in their rotation after Brandon Finnegan hit the disabled list Sunday with a strained left shoulder that's expected to prevent him from throwing for two to three weeks, but it doesn't look as though the team will entrust Adleman to claim the open starting spot. Instead, the Reds may prefer to try and get by with either Cody Reed or Robert Stephenson in the rotation, as both possess prior starting experience but have been relegated to relief this season. Additionally, Rookie Davis (forearm), who is on the DL with an injury of his own, is eligible to return Friday, but it's unclear if he would be ready to fill Finnegan's spot. Look for Adleman to work in long relief for the time being, but it wouldn't be out of the question for him to get a look in the rotation at some point this season as injuries and poor performance open up starting opportunities.

Okert was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday.

Okert was up with the Giants for a brief stint earlier this season, but did not make an appearance before he was sent back down. The left-hander will take the roster spot of Jarrett Parker (broken clavicle) in the short term, though it's likely the team eventually uses the spot to add outfield help.

Stephenson pitched three innings in relief of Brandon Finnegan on Saturday, allowing just one run on an Eric Thames homer. He struck out five, walked one and allowed three hits.

Stephenson came up big after Finnegan pitched just one inning Saturday. Right now there's no talk of moving Stephenson back to the rotation after Finnegan hit the disabled list, but Stephenson had two good outings this week after a bumpy debut. The Reds would prefer for him to continue his development in this fashion if possible.

Adleman was recalled from Triple-A Louisville on Sunday, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.

Adleman will provide short-term bullpen depth for Cincinnati and will serve as an insurance policy in long relief if Sunday's projected starter, Sal Romano, has a short outing. If Adleman is not needed Sunday, he could be a candidate for a spot start in the back end of the upcoming week. In his only start at Triple-A this year, the 29-year-old turned in a quality start but picked up a loss, giving up two earned runs over seven innings.

Iglesias allowed a solo home run over two innings but collected his first win of the season against Milwaukee on Saturday.

Iglesias collected a save in his previous three outings, and the run he allowed Saturday was the first he's surrendered this season. The converted starter has a 1.17 ERA and 0.65 WHIP with eight strikeouts through 7.2 innings. He's clearly not locked into a traditional ninth-inning role but should continue to receive the bulk of the save opportunities for the Reds. Additionally, Iglesias has eligibility as a starting pitcher in a lot of formats, which is a sneaky value boost.

Hoffman is a candidate to fill the vacant rotation spot that was created when Jon Gray (toe) was placed on the disabled list, Nick Groke of The Denver Post reports.

The 24-year-old competed for a rotation spot during spring training, although he lost the battle to Antonio Senzatela and Kyle Freeland after struggling with control. However, despite an uninspiring 4.91 ERA through two starts with Triple-A Albuquerque, Hoffman has only walked three batters in 11 innings. His 3.65 FIP also suggests that he's been subjected to some bad luck, so it's not out of the realm of possibility for him to make a spot start in Denver. German Marquez and Harrison Musgrave are also candidates to fill Gray's spot in the rotation, but none of them may be needed until the Rockies need a fifth starter on Apr. 28.

Moore (1-2) allowed five runs on 10 hits and three walks while striking out five over 5.2 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Rockies.

Moore struggled to keep the Rockies off the basepaths while not receiving a single run of support in dropping his second decision of the season. He's now failed to reach six innings in two of his three starts, though he did post a dominating effort in winning his previous start. Given that he's failed to post a sub-four ERA since 2014, Moore is an inconsistent fantasy option. He'll have a rematch against the Rockies in his next outing on Friday.

Neris required just 14 pitches pitches to retire the side in order in the eighth inning of Saturday's win over Washington.

While Neris is currently locked into a setup role, he's quickly establishing himself as an elite reliever. The 27-year-old righty has allowed just two hits and issued a single walk through 6.1 scoreless innings this season. His seven punchouts are serviceable, and Neris also collected his third hold of the campaign. Pitching in high-leverage situations should provide the setup man with the odd opportunity to grab a win or save, and he's likely the next man up to become the closer. He should be on your radar, and it's not out of the question to roster him in deeper leagues.
