Fields was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Fields was optioned to the minors Friday after Pedro Baez came off the disabled list, but will return to the Dodgers after Grant Dayton hit the DL with an intercostal strain Tuesday. Fields will round out the back-end of the Dodgers' bullpen.

White, 22, has allowed zero earned runs and just one hit through his first nine innings for High-A Rancho Cucamonga in 2017.

White has fanned 11 batters over that span while walking four. The 6-foot-4 righty could end up being a steal for the Dodgers after being selected in the second round of last year's draft.

Manager Bryan Price said that Adleman will start Friday's game against the Cubs, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The 29-year-old made his season debut Sunday against the Brewers and completed four innings with just one run against him. This strong start apparently prompted the Reds to hand him a spot start in place of Sal Romano, who was sent back to Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday. Adleman will take the mound opposite former Cy Young Award-winner Jake Arrieta in Friday's bout.

Hoover scattered two hits and struck out three batters over two scoreless innings en route to collecting his first win of the season in a 4-2 victory over the Dodgers on Monday.

Issues with keeping the ball in the park had doomed Hoover over his last three seasons with the Reds, and though he doesn't benefit much from calling Chase Field his home park these days, he's quickly cemented himself as one of the top setup options to closer Fernando Rodney. Hoover has supplied a 2.70 ERA and 8:1 K:BB ratio over 6.2 innings on the season, with only one of the seven hits he's allowed going for extra bases.

Rodney threw a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts to earn his fifth save of the year in Monday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers.

Despite an ugly 8.53 ERA with six runs allowed in 6.1 innings, Rodney is shockingly 5-for-5 in save chances this year. The 40-year-old veteran often makes things interesting while attempting to close out games with his high-wire act, but his perfect ledger so far doesn't have him in any danger of losing his job anytime soon. Rodney is susceptible to baserunners and long balls, so he can damage your ratios while being a cheap source of saves.

Barraclough has allowed one run over seven innings to begin 2017.

Barraclough already has an 11.6 K/9 this season, but he'll have to strike out even more hitters if he wants to match the 14.6 mark he posted in 2016. Across 72.2 innings last season, the 26-year-old posted a 2.85 ERA. He and Brad Ziegler have both been performing well as the bridge to closer A.J. Ramos; Barraclough has typically pitched the seventh inning, but don't be surprised to see him in the eighth if the Marlins start getting more length out of their starters.

Ottavino has allowed one run while striking out 10 in 6.1 innings to start the season.

Ottavino currently boasts a solid 14.2 K/9 and a 0.95 WHIP while locking down the setup role behind closer Greg Holland. Over the past two seasons, the 31-year-old posted a combined 1.93 ERA and notched 10 saves despite tossing just 37.1 innings.

Peralta has allowed just one run over 5.1 innings to begin the season.

The 25-year-old has started using his slider more effectively, which has catalyzed his fast start. Peralta appeared in 10 games for the Reds last season as a September call-up, allowing seven runs over 7.1 innings. Nonetheless, he is currently one of the lesser-used options in Cincinnati's bullpen.

Edwards will rejoin the Cubs' active roster after being activated from the bereavement list Monday, Patrick Mooney of CSN Chicago reports.

Edwards originally went on the bereavement list on April 14. The 25-year-old will return to a Cubs bullpen that has struggled during his absence. He'll look to continue his impressive start to the season, as Edwards hasn't allowed a single earned run through 4.2 innings.

Rodney pitched a scoreless ninth inning and struck out one batter en route to collecting a save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Dodgers.

After being blown up for three runs while recording one out just one day earlier in a non-save situation, Rodney looked right at home in the ninth inning Sunday, working around a one-out walk to record his fourth save of the season without much stress. Rodney's 10.13 ERA and 6:5 K:BB over 5.1 innings this season certainly don't look good, but since he's yet to blow a save chance this season, it looks like he still has some leeway as the team's closer.
