Leiter allowed two runs on one hit over two innings in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Rangers. He struck out one and walked one.

A Mike Napoli homer accounted for the two runs Leiter allowed. The 2013 22nd-round pick was expected to head back to the minors in April, but injuries to Aaron Nola and Jeanmar Gomez have helped him stick around longer than expected. He has a 4.82 ERA and a 7:4 K:BB in 9.1 innings of relief this season.

Fields fired a pair of scoreless innings while recording two strikeouts in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Giants.

The 32-year-old has gotten off the best start of his career in 2017, posting a 0.55 ERA through 16.1 innings. A big part of veteran's success has been a career-best 7.0 K/BB ratio. His 92.3 percent strand rate seems unsustainable, but nothing else in his peripherals points to a big regression (1.18 FIP). Sergio Romo has struggled this season and Pedro Baez has been pitching above his head (5.11 FIP), so Fields could find himself becoming the Dodgers' top right-handed setup man if he keeps this up.

Law pitched a perfect ninth inning en route to his fourth save of the season in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Dodgers.

This was the 26-year-old's toughest test since taking over as the Giants' closer and he came through with flying colors in an important division game. Outside of a rough outing against the Reds -- in which he still recorded the save -- Law has done a bang-up job filling in for Mark Melancon (elbow), likely cementing his role as the next in line should the Giants need him to close games again. San Francisco's regular closer expects to be activated off the disabled list Friday, so fantasy owners should begin planning their next course of action once Law returns to his usual setup role.

Blach (1-2) picked up his first victory of the season Tuesday, limiting the Dodgers to just one run over seven innings. He walked two and struck out four in a 2-1 win.

The 26-year-old continued his dominance over the Giants' division rivals, lowering his career ERA against the Dodgers to 1.17 through four starts. Blach exhibited pinpoint control Tuesday, avoiding the middle of the strike zone for the majority of the night. His lone mistake was an elevated fastball that Chris Taylor took over the wall in center. The rookie isn't a tantalizing fantasy option due to his lack of strikeout stuff, but he could be a useful streamer in the right matchups as evidenced by his three quality starts in his last four outings.

Gsellman will have his next start skipped and will work out of the bullpen in the near term, Wayne Randazzo or WOR 710 reports.

Gsellman was originally scheduled to start Friday against the Angels, but he'll have his spot in the rotation skipped because off days will enable the Mets to implement a four-man rotation over the next week. The team had high hopes for the 23-year-old this season, but he's failed to meet expectations early on. Perhaps some time out of the rotation will help him get his mind and body right.

Melancon (elbow) will be activated from the disabled list Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Melancon has steadily ramped up his rehab over the past few days and will throw Tuesday and Wednesday before returning to the Giants on Friday. He'll slot back in to the ninth-inning spot while interim closer Derek Law will shift back to his middle-relief role.

Robles (4-1) retired just two batters while allowing five runs on four hits and a walk during Monday's loss to Arizona.

Robles has now allowed nine runs over 1.2 innings through his past two appearances. He entered the recent two-game funk with a 1.42 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 9.5 K/9 over his previous 18 outings (19 innings), though, so there's a good chance he bounces back sooner than later.

Gsellman may have his next start skipped and be moved to the bullpen for the next week, the New York Daily News reports.

Gsellman's ERA rose to 7.07 after he took a beating in Milwaukee on Mother's Day. The Mets have an exhausted bullpen at this point, thanks in part to Gsellman's failures, so the Mets will use him out of the bullpen to rest their other relievers. Perhaps some low-stress outings will get Gsellman back on track.

Melancon (elbow) threw off a mound Monday, but he's expected to remain out a few days past Tuesday, his earliest eligible return date, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Melancon felt good after throwing and is progressing well. The Giants have an off day on Thursday before embarking on a road trip Friday beginning in St. Louis, and Melancon could very well make his return for the weekend series.

Suter was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday.

With Jhan Marinez booted off the 40-man roster, the Brewers needed another arm in Milwaukee, leading to Suter getting summoned to the big leagues. Although the southpaw acted primarily as a starter in the minor leagues, he'll likely fill a bullpen role in the majors, a role in which he produced four scoreless outings earlier in the season.
