Santillan (shoulder) picked up the win in his return from the disabled list Friday, allowing three runs in 6.1 innings pitched while fanning seven and walking just one batter.

Santillan ultimately only had to miss one start due to this shoulder issue, and it also doesn't seem to have any lingering effects. He'll continue to develop in Low-A Dayton's rotation with the hopes of improving his control and maintaining his position in the organization as a legitimate rotation prospect.

Bracho was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Wednesday.

Bracho pitched well since his most recent callup, allowing just one run in four innings of work while fanning three. However, being used four times in the past six days made him an easy candidate to head back to Reno when a roster spot needed to be cleared for Taijuan Walker to return from the DL. Despite the demotion, Bracho's string of strong performances should help him get back to the big leagues whenever Arizona needs fresh bullpen help.

Hoover retired only one of four batters faced in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Tigers, giving up a run on three hits.

The Diamondbacks entered the top of the sixth inning with a 6-0 lead, but after starter Zack Greinke recorded two outs and gave up four runs, Hoover was called upon to put out the fire with a runner on base. The right-hander was unable to extinguish the Tigers rally, as he allowed three successive base hits to tie up the game before inducing an inning-ending popout from Ian Kinsler. Though he's still maintaining a career-best 14.5 K/9 rate -- more than double last season's mark -- Hoover is still putting far too many runners on base, which is reflected in his 1.85 WHIP. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo may soon look to avoid using Hoover in big spots.

Vizcaino has a WHIP of 0.96 and an ERA of 2.08 in 26 innings this season as the primary setup man in Atlanta.

Vizcaino's poor 2016 is far behind him now, as he's been able to come back and return to the dominant form from 2015. His fastball is up to 97.8 MPH this season, and he's stranding runners at a 90.5% clip. He's proven himself a valuable asset in fantasy leagues that include holds, as he's fourth in the National League with 13 of them. Vizcaino has yet to record a save this season but seems to have as secure grip as the eighth-inning man for the Braves.

Jansen struck out the only batter he faced to pick up his 12th save of the season in Tuesday's 7-5 win over Cleveland.

The Dodgers took a 7-2 lead into the bottom of the ninth, but Chris Hatcher coughed up three runs to create a one-out save situation for Jansen. The 29-year-old now has an incomprehensible 44:0 K:BB through 26.2 innings to go along with a 1.01 ERA and 0.60 WHIP, and only his team's propensity for blowouts has kept him from being among the league leaders in saves.

Rodney struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 17th save of the season in a 7-6 win over the Tigers.

He hasn't given up an earned run since the end of April, a stretch of 14 appearances during which Rodney has a 0.59 WHIP and 11:6 K:BB in 13.2 innings. There's no telling how long his current form will last, but the 40-year-old is getting the job done at the moment.

Blach (4-4) allowed seven runs on 10 hits and a walk over 5.2 innings during Tuesday's 8-1 loss to the Royals. He struck out four.

Though he was far from sharp Tuesday, Blach's performance wasn't as miserable as his final line would suggest. He was the victim of several soft-contact hits and would've finished the night with only four earned runs to his name if reliever Cory Gearrin had been able to retire Whit Merrifield for the final out of the sixth inning. Instead, Gearrin allowed a bases-clearing triple which brought Blach's earned run total to a season-high seven runs. The forgettable performance raised the 26-year-old's ERA from 3.64 to 4.24 on the year. He'll look to right the ship during his next outing against the Rockies at Coors Field on Sunday.

Nelson allowed four runs on nine hits and a pair of walks over 5.2 innings in the nightcap of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals. He struck out four and didn't factor into the decision.

Nelson had been razor sharp in recent weeks, posting a 2.16 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 48:7 K:BB over 41.2 innings spanning his last seven starts, but this was a reminder of the inefficient pitcher we saw all too often last season. Still, with this year's strikeout and walk rates both representing career bests (8.9 K/9, 2.3 BB/9) and a .344 BABIP that seems primed for positive regression, Nelson's showing all the signs of being able to maintain an ERA in the mid-threes or better. He'll next take the ball at home against San Diego on Sunday.

Maurer picked up his 11th save of the season by retiring the final batter of Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

The Padres entered the ninth innings leading 6-0, but starter Clayton Richard ran into some late trouble and was chased from the game after allowing two runs to score on a Tucker Barnhart double. Phil Maton then entered the game but allowed a single to Billy Hamilton which prompted manager Andy Green to call upon his closer for the one-out save. Maurer promptly retired Scooter Gennett to earn his 11th save of the season. The 26-year-old's ERA currently sits at 6.39, so his job is far from secure at this point.

Suter was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.

He was the roster's 26th man for Tuesday's doubleheader, and after tossing 4.2 innings in his afternoon spot start, Suter got shuttled right back to the minors. Suter is a candidate to return to the majors in the future as a spot starter or additional bullpen arm.
