Kontos (groin) will resume baseball activities Friday with hopes of coming off the disabled list when eligible on Aug. 30, Pirates Prospects reports.

Pittsburgh trainer Todd Tomczyk characterized the righty's groin strain as minor. Kontos has allowed one run in five games (five innings) since coming to the Pirates, recording three holds and one blown save. He's also one of the few relievers signed by the Bucs for 2018.

Leiter (2-3) shut the Marlins out over seven innings Wednesday, striking out five while allowing just one hit and two walks in an 8-0 win.

The Phillies gave him a run of support in the bottom of the first, and that turned out to be all he'd need. Leiter had gotten the boot from the rotation after his Aug. 15 disaster against San Diego, but he actually never made an appearance during his return to the bullpen before being called upon for this start. Following this outing, it's hard to see him getting pushed out of the starting five again, at least for now, but it's worth monitoring his status as we head toward what would be his next turn in the rotation, Monday against the Braves.

Moore allowed a single run on five hits and two walks while striking out six batters through six innings during Wednesday's win over Milwaukee. He didn't factor into the decision.

Moore is finding a groove on the mound and has now allowed just five runs through 20.1 innings over his past three starts. He's had a number of disastrous outings this season, and the lefty owns a crippling 5.38 ERA and 1.51 WHIP. Still, his 7.9 K/9 is serviceable, so Moore can provide value in the right matchups. He projects to make his next start against the Padres at AT&T Park.

Stewart was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Stewart was called upon to make a spot start Tuesday against the Pirates. It certainly wasn't his best showing, as he gave up five runs on four hits and four walks over just two innings. In a corresponding move, Kyle Farmer was recalled from Oklahoma City.

Sanchez was called up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Sanchez has been a decent bullpen option for for Indianapolis this season. He's pitched 55.1 innings over 39 games, during which he's built a 3.74 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. Additionally, he's managed to strike out 65 batters in that time. In a corresponding move, Edgar Santana was optioned to Indianapolis.

Minter's contract was selected from Triple-A Gwinnett by the Braves on Wednesday.

Despite struggling with Gwinnett this season, Minter will get his first-ever taste of the majors. Over 17 games (15.1 innings) of Triple-A ball, the southpaw posted a 17:10 K:BB and threw for a 4.70 ERA and 1.66 WHIP. In a corresponding move, Max Fried was optioned to Gwinnett.

Suter (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Wednesday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Barring any setbacks, Suter is on track to be activated in late August or early September. Suter had been struggling prior to hitting the DL, as he'd allowed 13 runs over his previous three starts (14.1 innings).

Robles tossed three scoreless innings of relief in Tuesday's loss to the Diamondbacks, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one.

The right-hander has been dynamite in a long-relief role since rejoining the big-league bullpen right after the All-Star break, posting a 1.66 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB in his last 21.2 innings over 15 appearances. In fact, if you toss out his three ugly outings in May right before his demotion to Triple-A Las Vegas, Robles has a 1.55 ERA on the season. Little has gone right for the Mets this season, but the 27-year-old's development into a dominant multi-inning weapon in the bullpen is a bright spot.

Minter will be called up by the Braves on Wednesday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Max Fried will be sent down in a corresponding move. The 23-year-old Minter didn't get off to a great start with Triple-A Gwinnett following his promotion in early July, but he's been much better lately, allowing just one run on four hits in his last nine appearances (nine innings). He has thrown more than one inning just once in 26 appearances in the minors this season.

Peralta (3-4) gave up three runs on four hits while recording just two outs against the Cubs on Tuesday, sticking him in the loss column.

He's been one of the bright spots in Cincy's bullpen this year, but Peralta has had his stats damaged by a few blowups like this one. The 26-year-old lefty can't be expected to provide much fantasy value outside of deeper leagues that count holds.
