Victor Arano RP | WAS
Phillies' Victor Arano: Activated from disabled list
Arano (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day disabled list prior to Saturday's game.
Arano will be available out of the bullpen for Saturday's contest in St. Louis after appearing in a pair of rehab contests over the past week. The 23-year-old has been on the shelf since late April due to a mild right rotator cuff strain, but he shouldn't face any limitations moving forward as he experienced no problems during his recovery. Over 10 appearances this season with the Phillies, Arano has logged a 0.75 ERA and 0.67 WHIP with a 13:3 K:BB across 12 innings of relief.

Justin Wilson RP | BOS
Cubs' Justin Wilson: Strikes out three Friday
Wilson pitched a scoreless inning in Friday's win over the Reds, walking one and striking out three and lowering his ERA to 3.12 in the process.
Since allowing four earned runs April 12, Wilson has logged a 1.64 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with 12 strikeouts across 11 innings. During this stretch, he's only been scored upon twice in 12 appearances.

Shelby Miller RP | CHC
Diamondbacks' Shelby Miller: Tosses 63 pitches Friday
Miller (elbow) covered 3.1 innings Friday in an extended spring-training start, the Associated Press reports. He gave up two runs on two hits and fanned seven.
After tossing 33 pitches in his first start at extended spring training a week earlier, Miller upped his pitch count to 63 on Friday. Though he didn't witness Miller's start while the Diamondbacks were in New York, Arizona skipper Torey Lovullo relayed reports that the right-hander looked strong during the outing. According to Lovullo, Miller will remain in Arizona to make one more start at extended spring training before beginning a minor-league rehab assignment. Miller is expected to toss around 75 pitches or cover five innings his next time out.

Brent Suter RP | ATL
Brewers' Brent Suter: Snags third win against Twins
Suter (3-3) allowed one run on five hits and a walk with six strikeouts through 5.2 innings in a win Friday over the Twins.
With Chase Anderson and Zach Davies still nursing injuries, the Brewers needed to count on Suter to make a spot start, and the 28-year-old delivered. Despite averaging just 88.2 mph on it, Suter was able to lean on his fastball, which generated seven swinging strikes and seven of his 10 outs in play. Suter has yet to record a quality start this season, but he has now made eight spot starts of at least five innings and has allowed three runs or fewer five times. Don't expect him to stay in the rotation past the returns of Anderson and Davies, both of whom are nearing full health, but Suter adds valuable depth to the Brewers with his ability to step up in a pinch.

Brad Hand RP | ATL
Padres' Brad Hand: Notches 13th save Friday
Hand gave up a hit and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his 13th save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Pirates.
He's now converted seven straight chances, and Hand's rocky start to the season is well behind him as he now sports an impressive 2.31 ERA and 37:11 K:BB through 23 innings.

Dominic Leone RP | CHW
Cardinals' Dominic Leone: Out indefinitely with nerve damage
Leone (biceps) will be sidelined indefinitely after the club revealed that he's dealing with nerve damage, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
Leone has been on the DL for the past two weeks after exiting a game against the Cubs on May 4 due to cramping in his right biceps. The Cardinals have remained relatively quiet regarding Leone's condition, but this recent news is obviously very concerning.

Jimmy Nelson RP | LAD
Brewers' Jimmy Nelson: Receives positive news on shoulder
Nelson will be shut down for the next 10 days after meeting with Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Thursday, during which it was determined the pitcher's surgically-repaired shoulder is doing just fine, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Following Nelson's mini-rest period -- which isn't a setback or sign of any issues -- the right-hander will resume throwing from longer distances before increasing his activity to the next level. It appears as though he remains on track for a return near the All-Star Break, but a better timetable should come into focus once he's able to partake in mound work.

Dillon Peters RP | PIT
Marlins' Dillon Peters: Returns to majors
The Marlins recalled Peters from Triple-A New Orleans on Friday, Matthew DeFranks of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Peters was optioned to Triple-A in early May after posting a 6.31 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 25.2 innings for the Marlins. The 25-year-old began the season in the starting rotation but is likely slated for a long-relief bullpen role this time around.

Matt Bowman RP | MIN
Cardinals' Matt Bowman: Heads to disabled list with blisters
Bowman was placed on the 10-day disabled list with blisters on his right index and middle fingers Friday, source reports.
Prior to the injury, Bowman recorded a 5.82 ERA in 17 innings. The Cardinals did not call up a reliever, but instead recalled outfielder Tyler O'Neill to take Bowman's roster spot.

Derek Law RP | ARI
Giants' Derek Law: Optioned revoked, placed on disabled list
Law's recent option was revoked and he was placed on the 10-day disabled list with an ankle injury Thursday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic Bay Area reports.
Law had been optioned to Triple-A Sacramento back on April 10, but the Giants discovered that he had sustained a nerve-related ankle injury during his last appearance back on April 9. They were allowed to revoke his option and send him to the disabled list instead. He will throw Friday, but a precise timetable for his return has not been made clear.
