Poncedeleon (0-2) took the loss Wednesday against the Pirates, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk across five innings. He struck out seven.

All five hits Poncedeleon allowed were singles, but they all came in the second and third innings, resulting in a pair of runs. The rookie now owns a shiny 2.79 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 22:6 K:BB across four starts (19.1 innings) this season, though it's unclear if he'll get another turn in the rotation or head back to the bullpen.

Brigham's scheduled start against the Mets on Wednesday was postponed, Matt Ehalt of The Bergen Record reports.

This is now the third consecutive start Brigham has had postponed. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday, so Brigham figures to start one half of the twin bill.

Hernandez recorded four outs Tuesday against the Dodgers, picking up his 13th hold of the season.

With the outing, Hernandez lowered his ERA to 2.35 and WHIP to 0.99. He's posted a 58:16 K:BB over 57.1 innings to go along with a 5-0 record. He and Jared Hughes have been an effective bridge to closer Raisel Iglesias.

Suarez (6-11) took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings against the Braves.

Suarez allowed a run in the fourth before allowing two more to come around in the fifth inning on a two-run homer -- the fourth long ball he's allowed in 12 innings over his last two starts. Despite the loss the southpaw technically worked a quality start, doing so for the third time in four outings. He'll take a 4.33 ERA and 1.28 WHIP into Monday's start in San Diego.

Yates pitched a clean ninth inning with one strikeout to earn the save Tuesday against the Mariners.

Yates was called upon to protect a one-run lead and he set down the Mariners in order on just 12 pitches (nine strikes). The 31-year-old has an elite 1.94 ERA and now has eight saves to go along with a 12.6 K/9.

Dominguez allowed three runs on two hits over 1.2 innings during Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals. He struck out one and walked three.

Dominguez remained in the game after a scoreless eighth inning attempting to secure the save with a 6-3 lead, but instead gave up two runs on two hits and two walks before exiting the game with the bases loaded. Luis Garcia entered the game and walked Trea Turner to tie things up 6-6, meaning Dominguez actually earned a hold for the outing rather than blowing the save, since he wasn't pitching when the lead was relinquished. The 24-year-old set a season high with 43 pitches, and now has a 3.29 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 67:19 K:BB across 52 total innings.

Arano didn't pitch in Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals due to right elbow soreness, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Arano last took the mound Sunday against the Mets, and also pitched in Saturday's game. The severity of the issue remains unclear at this point, and the 23-year-old should be considered day-to-day for the time being. Arano has a 2.50 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 56:15 K:BB over 54 innings this season.

Strop picked up the save in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Brewers, tossing a clean ninth inning with a strikeout.

Strop breezed through Jesus Aguilar, Ryan Braun and Jonathan Schoop on 13 pitches, getting Schoop to strike out to end the game. Strop now has 13 saves and a stellar 2.33 ERA, and he looks like a good bet to serve as the closer for the rest of the regular season with Brandon Morrow (biceps) only having tossed a light bullpen session so far in his recovery from injury.

Iglesias had one walk and one strikeout during a scoreless ninth inning to record the save in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Dodgers.

Iglesias threw only eight of his 15 pitches for strikes, but induced a double play after walking Yasmani Grandal to escape unscathed. The 28-year-old is 26-for-30 in save situations this season with a 2.51 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 69:21 K:BB across 64.2 innings.

Pivetta (7-12) took the loss against the Nationals in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader, allowing two runs on three hits across 4.1 innings. He struck out one and walked three.

The Nationals fouled off 19 pitches to help drive up Pivetta's pitch count, eventually breaking through for a pair of runs during the fifth inning. The 25-year-old has failed to work through five innings during his last two starts, and will look for a better result in his next scheduled start Monday against the Mets.
