Pomeranz (0-1) allowed two runs on six hits and three walks in four innings, taking the loss against the Rays on Sunday. He struck out five batters.

Pomeranz gave up a leadoff homer to Yandy Diaz on just the second pitch on the game, and it was really all the Rays needed. It took him 94 pitches to get through four innings as he struggled to retire batters all afternoon. Looking for his first win of 2019, Pomeranz will face Colorado at home on Friday.

Kelly (wrist) is available out of the bullpen Sunday against Colorado, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Although Kelly's imaging results came back negative, a lack of news following Saturday morning's re-evaluation was concerning. Despite this, the Dodgers have cleared him to pitch in the series finale after being struck by a comebacker in Friday's contest.

Strahm (0-2) got the loss against the Cardinals on Sunday, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits over five innings, striking out two and walking two as the Padres fell 4-1.

It was a solid rebound outing for Strahm, who was roughed up by the Diamondbacks for five earned in just 2.2 innings in his last start. He was unlucky not to find himself in line for his first win of the season, as his teammates only provided him with one run of support on the afternoon. The left-hander is scheduled to take the mound next against Arizona on Friday.

Almonte was called up from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Almonte made 14 appearances out of the bullpen with the Rockies last season and pitched well with a 1.84 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 14:4 K:BB over 14.2 innings. The 24-year-old struck out the side in his lone appearance with Albuquerque this season.

Stewart was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Stewart allowed eight runs on nine hits over four innings and gave up multiple runs in each of his three appearances. Dennis Santana was called up from Triple-A to fill out the Dodgers' bullpen.

Santana will be called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Santana will join the team for the series finale in Denver with the bullpen in need of a fresh arm. The 22-year-old made his lone major-league appearance last season and allowed five runs on six hits over 3.2 innings.

Gallegos was called up from Triple-A Memphis on Sunday.

Gallegos had an outside shot to break camp with the Cardinals in spring training but was optioned to the minors in early March. The 27-year-old allowed five runs over 11.1 innings and had a 12:3 K:BB during his brief time with the Cardinals last season.

Webb was called up from Triple-A Memphis on Sunday.

Webb was sent to the minors at the end of spring training but makes a fairly quick return to the big leagues. The 28-year-old had a 4.43 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 15:9 K:9 over 22 appearances between the Padres and Cardinals in 2018.

Ponce de Leon is a likely candidate to be called up from Triple-A Memphis when the Cardinals announce roster moves Sunday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The right-hander is due to start for the Redbirds on Sunday, but he may get the call to the big-league club instead. Alex Reyes was optioned to Triple-A on Saturday after another rough outing, which leaves the Cardinals with just 13 pitchers for the moment. Ponce de Leon was solid in his first exposure to big-league hitters in 2018, generating a 2.73 ERA and 1.12 WHIP across 11 appearances, including four starts. He'd project for a relief role for the time being if he does indeed get summoned to the majors, although his extensive starting experience would certainly make him a candidate to fill in on the rotation if necessary.

Jansen gave up a hit and struck out two over 1.1 scoreless innings to record his fourth save of the season in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Rockies.

The Dodgers added two insurance runs in the top of the ninth, giving Jansen plenty of cushion even for an appearance in Coors Field. The 31-year-old has yet to allow a run in 5.1 innings with a 6:1 K:BB, and as long as he can avoid the health issues that have affected him in the past, Jansen should remain one of baseball's elite closers.
