Wilson (elbow) threw off a mound Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Monday's session apparently went off without a hitch and marked Wilson's first time throwing off a mound since landing on the injured list last week. While it doesn't sound like the southpaw will be ready to return when first eligible Tuesday, he could be activated later in the week.

Pivetta struck out 14 over six innings for Triple-A Lehigh Valley in its 6-5 win Sunday over Buffalo. He gave up one run on three hits and three walks in the 101-pitch outing.

Pivetta has racked up 23 punchouts through his first two starts at Triple-A, but it's probably too early to say that he's solved the command and control problems that plagued him prior to being demoted to the minors. He kept the ball in the yard Sunday but allowed a home run in his previous turn with Lehigh Valley and has also issued three walks in both of those turns. Moreover, with back-end starters Zach Eflin, Vince Velasquez and Jerad Eickhoff all pitching well at the moment for the Phillies, there's no real impetus for the organization to rush Pivetta back to the big leagues.

Hart was recalled from Triple-A San Antonio on Monday.

Hart will take the roster spot of Aaron Wilkerson (foot), who landed on the injured list Monday. The 28-year-old Hart has made two appearances for the Brewers this season, allowing two hits and four walks across 2.1 scoreless frames. The southpaw should fill a middle-relief role during his time with the big club.

Jackson had his contract selected from Triple-A San Antonio on Monday.

Jackson hasn't allowed a run through seven appearances with San Antonio this season, racking up 14 strikeouts and a trio of saves while allowing just four hits and two walks in 8.2 innings of work. The right-hander figures to pitch in lower-leverage situations upon initially joining the big club, though that could change if he impresses.

The Cardinals optioned Helsley to Triple-A Memphis on Monday.

The hard-throwing Helsley showed some promise in a relief role during his first taste of the majors, giving up two home runs while otherwise conceding just one hit in 6.1 innings spanning three appearances. Despite Helsley's success in that capacity, the Cardinals apparently haven't abandoned the idea of developing him as a starter, so he'll head back to Memphis to continue receiving regular turns as a member of the rotation.

Crowe tossed five scoreless innings for Double-A Harrisburg on Sunday, allowing two hits and four walks while striking out four.

The right-hander's control wasn't sharp in this one, but that's an aberration for him in 2019 -- he came into Sunday having issued only three free passes in his four prior starts. Crowe has been outstanding to begin the season, posting a 0.96 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 25:7 K:BB through 28 innings, and it may not be long before the 24-year-old gets a promotion to Triple-A Fresno. A second-round pick in 2017, Crowe came into the season with perceived No. 4/5 starter upside, but that may have undersold his potential.

Smith gave up three runs on three hits and a walk while striking out one over an inning in Sunday's 11-5 loss to the Yankees.

The Giants hadn't provided Smith with a save situation since April 23, so manager Bruce Bochy deployed his closer in a non-save situation, much to the chagrin of his fantasy owners. The 29-year-old saw his ERA balloon to 3.72 after the rough outing, but he remains a perfect 6-for-6 on save opportunities this season.

Jansen allowed a hit and a walk but also struck out two in a save during a 7-6 victory against the Pirates on Sunday.

The ninth started uneventfully, as Jansen retired the first two batters, but then the veteran looked like he might blow his second save in his last four chances, as he gave up a walk and double. However, Jansen closed the door with another strikeout. He has 19 punchouts in 14.2 innings this season. He is 10-for-11 in save opportunities with a 3.07 ERA and 0.89 WHIP as well.

Andriese will not be promoted to the starting rotation, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

The Diamondbacks are considering replacing Zack Godley in the rotation, but manager Torey Lovullo is loathe to remove Andriese from his role in the bullpen. "He hasn't really entered the equation for me because he's been throwing the ball exceptionally well out of the bullpen, and I don't want to disrupt that," Lovullo said. "At this point in time, we're going to keep him where he's at and let him continue helping us win games in that area." Andriese has been Arizona's long man out of the 'pen, pitching 18.2 innings over 10 appearances.

Diaz picked up the save after tossing a scoreless ninth inning and striking out one Sunday against Milwaukee.

Diaz had no problem retiring the final three batters, as he needed just nine pitches to get the job done. The 25-year-old continues to dominate out of the closer's role in 2019, owning a 0.84 ERA and 0.84 WHIP with 20 strikeouts and eight saves over 10.2 innings.
