Diaz picked up the save after tossing a scoreless ninth inning and striking out one Sunday against Milwaukee.

Diaz had no problem retiring the final three batters, as he needed just nine pitches to get the job done. The 25-year-old continues to dominate out of the closer's role in 2019, owning a 0.84 ERA and 0.84 WHIP with 20 strikeouts and eight saves over 10.2 innings.

Jackson retired the final two batters Sunday against the Padres to pick up the save.

One night after A.J. Minter blew a save chance, Jackson managed to record the final two outs in a one-run ballgame to preserve Sunday's victory; Minter recorded the first out of the frame. The 27-year-old has been stellar out of the bullpen this season for Atlanta, with his lone hiccup coming in his first outing of the season against the Phillies, when he surrendered four runs over one inning of work. Since then, Jackson has turned in 12 straight scoreless appearances and might creep into some of these closing chances, especially if Minter continues to struggle or be reserved for matchups with lefty batters.

Rodriguez (3-3) allowed six runs (four earned) on seven hits and four walks in three innings, taking the loss to the Yankees on Sunday. He struck out three batters.

Rodriguez had allowed four runs in the first two innings before Gleyber Torres took him deep for a two-run blast in the third. In his three previous starts, the 26-year-old had allowed just five runs with a 15:5 K:BB across 17.2 innings. His ERA jumped to 4.35 after throwing just 47-of-81 pitches for strikes on Sunday. Rodriguez will get an easier matchup against the Reds on Saturday.

Ferguson was placed on the 10-day injured list with an unspecified injury Sunday.

Per Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, Ferguson picked up a side injury in Saturday's game against the Pirates. The nature and severity of the issue aren't yet clear, but he'll wind up missing at least 10 days. Rich Hill (knee) was activated off the injured list in a corresponding move.

Nelson (shoulder) won't make his scheduled rehab start for Triple-A San Antonio on Sunday as his wife gave birth to twins the night before, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Nelson's recovery timeline may be pushed back a bit, though he still likely has a way to go before returning to the majors. He may require several rehab starts as shoulder problems have prevented him from pitching in game action since 2017.

Koch was designated for assignment by the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Koch was quite poor in 20.2 innings of relief, posting a 9.15 ERA while walking just 9.4 percent of opposing batters. With a career 4.88 ERA in 125.1 innings and a considerably worse 5.99 FIP, it doesn't appear particularly likely that he'll be claimed off waivers. Jon Duplantier was called up to take his spot in the bullpen.

Vizcaino (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Sunday.

The move has no effect on Vizcaino's return timeline, as he's already been ruled out for the year following season-ending surgery. He'll make room on the 40-man roster for Jerry Blevins, acquired in a trade from Oakland earlier in the day.

Reyes will be out three weeks for Triple-A Memphis with a fractured left pinkie, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.

Reyes' wound is purely self-inflicted, as it occurred when he punched a wall in frustration after his most recent start. Luckily for him, the fracture is on his non-throwing hand, so he'll head to extended spring training to continue throwing. He'll be kept out of game action for three weeks and will then need further time to make a push to return to the big leagues.

Minter (0-3) blew his first save of the season and took the loss Saturday as Atlanta fell 9-5 to Colorado. He struck out two but was tagged for four runs on two hits and two walks over two-thirds of an inning.

The southpaw has yet to go more than a few appearances this season without some kind of meltdown, and Minter's inconsistency has saddled him with a ghastly 9.72 ERA through 8.1 innings. His 11:4 K:BB highlights his upside if he can get straightened out, but for now he'll be tough to rely on as a dependable source of saves, especially as the pressure mounts on the Atlanta front office to bring in bullpen reinforcements.

Jansen threw a perfect ninth inning against the Pirates on Saturday en route to his ninth save of the season.

The long ball has been an issue for Jansen lately -- he had given up a homer in three of his last four appearances coming into Saturday -- so it was nice to see him breeze through an 11-pitch inning. Jansen is 9-for-10 in save chances and even with the recent homer trouble remains among the most secure closers in baseball.
