Neris earned a perfect four-out save with a pair of strikeouts against the Braves on Thursday.

The right-hander came into the eighth inning with two on and two outs and finished things off by forcing Dansby Swanson to line out. He re-entered in the ninth frame and did not allow a baserunner en route to his 26th save of the season. The 30-year-old owns a solid 2.84 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 83:21 K:BB across 63 appearances for the Phillies.

Jansen got the save against the Orioles on Thursday, tossing a scoreless ninth inning without allowing a baserunner to close out the Dodgers' 4-2 victory. He struck out one and walked none.

The right-hander needed 18 pitches to set down the side in order and successfully protect a two-run lead for his 29th save of the season. Jansen's 3.72 ERA over 55.2 innings remains uncharacteristically high, but he figures to maintain his role as the primary ninth-inning option for the Dodgers through the rest of the season.

Hader pitched a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts to nail down a 3-2 victory and record his 31st save against the Marlins on Thursday.

After throwing his first pitch for a ball, Hader pounded the zone with his next 10 pitches and retired the side in 11 throws. Hader has been a strikeout machine lately, posting 20 punchouts in his last 10.1 innings. In addition to all the strikeouts, since blowing a save on Aug. 17, Hader has thrown 11.1 straight scoreless frames. Overall, he is 3-5 with 31 saves, 2.51 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 126 strikeouts in 68 innings this season.

Lamet (2-5) allowed three earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven across five innings to take the loss Thursday against the Cubs.

Lamet's major stumble came in the fourth inning, when he allowed the first two runners to reach base -- both of which ultimately came around to score. However, he continued to rack up strikeouts, generating 14 swinging strikes on 74 total pitches. While he's worked more than five innings only three times in his last seven outings, Lamet has 81 punchouts across 62 innings for the season. He's scheduled to take the mound next on Wednesday at Milwaukee.

Young (7-4) allowed six runs (one earned) on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts across 2.2 innings while taking a loss against the Mets on Thursday.

This was an ugly line, as Young gave up five hits, including two homers, and two walks in under three frames, but thanks to an error, only one run counted against his ERA. Still, this was not an outing owners were expecting after Young threw eight shutout innings in his last appearance. He owns a 3.38 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 61 strikeouts in 69.1 innings this season. Young is expected to make his next start at home against the Marlins on Tuesday.

Webb underwent arthroscopic surgery on his elbow after being shut down in August, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear as to when Webb went under the knife, but his season appears to be over. The Braves have yet to reveal a timetable for his return.

Minter was placed on the 60-day injured list Thursday with left shoulder inflammation.

Minter dealt with a shoulder injury at the start of the season and has struggled since, posting a 7.06 ERA and 2.01 WHIP across 29.1 innings while bouncing between the majors and minors. He struck out 35 batters during that stretch but also walked 23. This move ends the southpaw's season while freeing up a spot on the 40-man roster for Grant Dayton (toe), who was reinstated from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move.

Alexander (forearm) underwent surgery to address a nerve issue in his left hand, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Alexander has been on the shelf since early June with left forearm inflammation as well as nerve and thumb issues. It's unclear how long the southpaw will be sidelined following the procedure, though he's already been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Rodriguez will pitch out of the bullpen moving forward, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Rodriguez owns a 4.93 ERA and 54:27 K:BB across 15 big-league starts (76.2 innings) this season. He'll be available out of the bullpen for the time being, though the right-hander could rejoin the rotation for a spot start next week in Boston. The Giants will start Tyler Beede, Madison Bumgarner and Johnny Cueto for their three-game series against the Marlins this weekend.

Kimbrel (elbow) threw a bullpen session Thursday, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Kimbrel incorporated all of his pitches and said afterwards that everything went "fine," though he declined to provide further details. While this is a step in the right direction for the right-hander, his return timeline remains unclear. The Cubs should continue to mix and match in the ninth inning while Kimbrel remains sidelined, with Rowan Wick and Steve Cishek representing possible endgame options, among others.
