Hoffman (knee) will start Sunday's game against the Brewers.

He suffered a right knee contusion when a comebacker off the bat of Alex Dickerson knocked him out of his start Tuesday but thankfully avoided a more serious injury. Hoffman has a 5.11 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 21:13 K:BB in 24.2 innings (five starts) in September.

Yamamoto threw six scoreless innings in no-decision against the Mets on Thursday, giving up just one hit, striking out 10 and walking three as the Marlins won 4-2.

Yamamoto saved his best for last, dominating the Mets in turning his first double-digit-strikeout performance of the season, while yielding just one hit and finding himself unfortunate not to pick up his fifth win. The 23-year-old's 4.46 ERA isn't spectacular, but his 1.14 WHIP is a solid number. Opponents hit just .191 off him in his 15 starts, leaving hope that he has more upside to be found looking ahead to next season.

Hader recorded four outs with a walk and two strikeouts to post his 37th save in a 5-3 victory against the Reds on Thursday.

The Brewers closer has been a busy man. That's now nine straight appearances in which Hader entered a save situation, and he's converted all nine. He's 10-for-10 this month and has not blown a save since Aug. 17. Hader also owns a 1.35 ERA in September. He could remain busy this weekend, as the Brewers try to track down the Cardinals and avoid the NL Wild Card Game. Overall, Hader is 3-5 with 37 saves, 2.53 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 136 strikeouts in 74.2 innings this season.

Kelly is suffering from poor "overall body" health and is unlikely to be fully recovered for the playoffs, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Both the Dodgers and Kelly have been unable to provide a clear explanation of the right-hander's ailment, though Kelly indicated that it is hampering "certain movements that are related to pitching." The 31-year-old plans to pitch again before the end of the regular season, but he made it clear that he's unlikely to return to full strength anytime soon. Kelly has posted a 4.62 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 62:22 K:BB in 50.2 innings this season.

Hudson earned the save against the Phillies on Thursday after tossing a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one walk and striking out three.

Aside from walking Brad Miller, Hudson was in lights out form, preserving a three-run lead in the ninth by whiffing three of his four batters faced. The 32-year-old right-hander owns a sparkling 1.50 ERA and 0.92 WHIP with eight saves across 68 appearances this season.

Beede will undergo an MRI on his left oblique after leaving Thursday's game against the Rockies, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Beede cruised through 3.1 perfect innings Thursday, but he was lifted after suffering an injury. Regardless of what the MRI reveals, he appears to be done for the season with only a few games remaining.

Beede was removed from Thursday's game against the Rockies with an apparent injury, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Prior to exiting, Beede had struck out seven across 3.1 perfect innings.

Beede was dialed in before he was forced out of the game with one out in the fourth inning. It's not yet known why he was removed. Burch Smith took over for the right-hander, who will finish the season with a 5.08 ERA and 113 strikeouts in 117 innings.

Manager Mickey Callaway said Wilson likely won't pitch again this season, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

The Mets are eliminated from playoff contention and don't want to overwork Wilson, who dealt with an elbow injury earlier in summer. The lefty compiled a 2.54 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 44:19 K:BB across 39 innings this season.

Gott (elbow) had surgery on his groin and is expected to make a full recovery within six weeks, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Gott apparently dealt with a groin injury for most of the season. He also dealt with a UCL sprain and flexor strain in his right elbow but should be ready to go by the time spring training rolls around. Gott compiled a 4.44 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 57 strikeouts in 52.2 innings this season.

Young could be used as the primary starter for Sunday's season finale against the Pirates, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

In some form, Young will pitch Sunday, either as the starter or the primary pitcher. The schedule should be finalized after Taijuan Walker (elbow, shoulder) completes a bullpen session Thursday. If all goes well, Walker will serve as Sunday's opener with Young waiting to piggyback.
